It’s been a while since I picked up a book by M.J. Fields and after reading Cinq A Sept I have to ask myself why because this story has everything I love in a book, I was drawn in from the first page it has characters with sizzling chemistry and it has plenty of humour and witty banter.
Angela is a single woman who has just hit 40 her ex doesn’t have much to do with her or her 18 year old daughter so she has become the mother and the father as well as building a successful career for herself, she ozzies confidence so how come a younger man who goes by the name of Joe has managed to throw her off her game......
This book has a lot going on and there are a fair few twists and turns some you may spot others will hit you like freight train, it’s a love story that many see as taboo why is ok for a man to have a younger woman but it’s not ok the other way round. Love is not always easy but this book proves that if we believe in true love and if we are prepared to fight for it “Love truly conquers all”. Our pasts are just that and yes they may form part of our future but they don’t have to rule it. I loved all the characters in this book and I really hope we get some spin offs from this beautifully written love story. Great job looking forward to reading more from this very talented author.
