Blog Tour for EIGHTY-ONE NIGHTS by Georgia Cates!

Eighty-One Nights (Beautiful Illusions Duet #1) by Georgia Cates Release Date: April 9th

Blurb: Beautiful, penniless American girl meets handsome, wealthy Scotsman.
Sounds like the beginning of a fairy-tale romance?
It’s not.
This story begins with a contract.
And an exchange of money.
A lot of money.
An angel perches nervously on one shoulder.
A devil lounges smugly on my other.
And even that dark little bastard is leery of what I’m doing.
Maxwell Hutcheson wants the girlfriend experience.
All of it.
And I’m going to give it to him.
I’m not supposed to enjoy being his whore.
I’m also not supposed to fall in love with him.
But I do. Both.
When our contract expires, I will walk away.
Because I have to.
But he’ll always have a piece of me.
I’ll mask my sorrow with a smile.
I’ll hide my love with indifference
… all while it’s killing me softly.
A fairy-tale romance.
It isn’t mine to have.
And this man I’ve come to love so dearly isn’t my happily ever after.
About Eighty-One Nights:
While the characters from Eighty-One Nights are entirely new, their storyline is a combination of fresh material and carefully selected themes, scenes, and settings from The Beauty Series, The Sin Trilogy, Dear Agony, and Indulge. This is intentional. I chose some of my favorite elements from previous releases and interjected them into Hutch and Lou’s story. Let’s call it a “story fusion” between our old favorites and new material. This work was briefly released under a pen name and was titled The Girlfriend Experience.

Excerpt: “No one gets to call you a whore.”
“You can.”
He stops eating and looks at me. “I’d never degrade you by calling you a whore.”
“Not a whore. Your whore. There’s a difference.”
I can almost see the wheels turning in Hutch’s head. “You’re my whore?”
“Yes. Only yours.”
“My whore.” He grins. “I don’t think that I’m supposed to like that, but I do.”
“And I don’t think I’m supposed to like being your whore, but I do. Very much.”
He reaches out for my hand and brings it to his mouth, kissing it. “You never cease to amaze me.”
“Dirty talk. Never underestimate the power of it.”

Georgia Cates is a new author to me. I was intrigued when I read the blurb and thought it was a great opportunity to dive in to a new author. Be prepared you need to wait for book two to get the conclusions to their story.
Maxwell (Hutch) Hutcheson and Lou (Cait)  have a contract, it is not a conventional contract but one where Hutch has hired Lou to be his girlfriend for 3 months. Hutch is a recent widow and is struggling and he wants someone to ease his loneliness which is where Lou enters. She has joined the dating service to help with her tuition fees.
Neither of them expect the connection which springs to life when they meet initially. Of course like all contracts there are terms to be agreed upon and lines to be drawn.
I was drawn to both these characters and Ms.Cates style of writing drew me in and kept me entertained throughout the story.

Hutch is drawn to Lou in ways that have never happened before and he wants to pursue these feelings. His past is sad and  heart breaking so for him this is a giant step; the connection between them is real and he knows it could lead to more.
What will happen when their contract ends? We will have to wait and see.

Eighty-One Nights is a beautifully written love story that will leave you wanting more it will leave you with all the feels you want and expect in a great read.
Caitriona Louden (Lou) is an American student living in Scotland, she moved to be with her father and his family but very quickly finds out she is going to have to fend for herself so she asks her roommate for advice and that’s when she finds herself at a club called Inamorata. This club is like no other yes there are girls for hire but each girl decides how far she is willing to go with the man who has hired her, maybe a man is lonely or maybe a man needs a companion for a function or maybe it’s all about a night of passion ......
Maxwell Hutchison (Hutch) is also introduced to Inamorata by a friend but when he is introduced to Lou he knows there is no going back he knows she is the one for him so he signs a contract to have her by his side for three months but will that be long enough for this couple .........
Companionship turns in to passion which then turns to love but secrets have a way of ruining a good thing could the secrets break or make this adorable couple guess you need to read the book to find that out. I knew this book would end on a cliffhanger but I really wasn’t prepared for the ending to Eighty One Nights I wanted to scream but the good thing is I understand part two in this duet is not too far away. I really need to know the conclusion to Hutch and Lou’s love story and I’m sure if you take a chance on this great read you will feel exactly the same.
