THE LYING HOURS by Sara Ney - Release Blitz & Reviews

ABRAHAM DAVIS—Honest Abe to his friends—IS IN OVER HIS HEAD...

He’s a fixer and a do good-er. The all-knowing, resident "grandfather" on the wrestling team who everyone relies on to fix their problems. His teammates go to him for everything; advice, homework, or when they need a sober driver at three in the morning--whether he likes it or not.

Abe’s current mission is easy: mend his roommates broken heart by helping him find a girlfriend on the LoveU app--without getting caught in the lie...

SKYLAR GABRIEL. IS. OVER. IT.

Over her bad grades. Over her meddling older brother and his two best friends. And over dating douchebags. What she wants to know is: where have all the nice guys gone?

She longs for a handsome, sweet, and honest guy who can make her laugh. In one last ditch effort to prove that he exists—Skylar turns to LoveU.

On her worst day, Skylar has no filter (it’s a miracle she hasn’t been ditched mid-date).
On her best, she’s as wholesome, and sweet, as pie.
On Thursday? She matches with Abraham Davis’s roommate.

Skylar Gabriel is falling for the wrong guy—she just doesn’t realize it yet.

Why?

BECAUSE ABE DAVIS IS A LIAR.

This was quite the entertaining story where I snort laughed more than a few times.
I thought Abe was extremely charming and a wordsmith...what with his way with words....but when he stumbles on Skylar, seems all bets are off. Yes they meet in an unconventional way and really seem to hit it off. Does the lie when found about, ruin their friendship?? I really so enjoyed the witty banter throughout the whole storyline, so entertaining. The text messages were fun, the friendships were laugh out loud quirky and so steamy you may need a cold shower, hehe!! Wink emoji!!
In all seriousness, I loved how Skylars roommate got her out of her comfort zone and I especially loved the way the friendship/relationships develops.
A rather entertaining witty story that shows how great friends can be when they push you to be with someone that gives you butterflies!
Loved it!

I was very excited when I heard we were getting another Douchebag story and The Lying Hours did not disappoint it was everything I expected and more. I love this series and this author has a knack of giving us characters that are natural together and that share fantastic witty banter.
Abe and Skylar meet through a dating app called LoveU only it wasn’t Abe she was meant to fall for because he was meant to be finding a girl for his roommate not himself ....oh what a tangled web.
You might say you couldn’t like a man who is pretending to be someone else but in this case is not malicious it’s all done in good heart and this story will certainly have you giggling if not laughing out loud. Quirky loveable characters seemed to be this very talented authors mark and she does rom coms extremely well and although the books in this series are connected you can still read each one as a stand-alone. Looking forward to what’s coming next from this author.
