Luck in love has never been this quick and dirty…
Romance author Alexis Lane knew exactly what she was doing when she set her good-girl image on fire. Becoming Reina Dare, a take-no prisoners vixen who dominates the erotic fiction genre, is exactly who she’s meant to be.
Kent Kingsley makes the most of his role as CEO to a lavish Las Vegas hotel and casino. He’s a confident, cocky playboy whose only romantic ambition is to send his women home with a smile.
Just as Alexis has the chance to catapult Reina Dare to the top of all the best seller lists, she gambles with her future when she meets Kent.
The stakes are never higher when their chemistry is off the charts hot—in and out of bed. Both have sworn off romantic relationships, but Kent quickly realizes just because there’s fire doesn’t mean they’ll get burned.
Now, he must convince Alexis to gamble again, even if the house always wins.

Heather Guimond is a new author to me but after reading Quick Dirty Luck I will certainly be checking out her other books because I really enjoyed her style of writing as well as the characters I meet in this book.
Playboy Kent and romance novelist Alexis are both dealing with issues from their past neither seem to be able to move on with a new relationship but can two stubborn people with a history of bad relationships make it work together........
This book has it all, it was funny, it was hot and it had plenty of twists and turns all of which will have you captivated in this great story. The chemistry was sizzling and the banter between Alexis and Kent was perfect and even when they were pushing each other’s buttons they still had me laughing. This was all in all an enjoyable read that hooked me from the first page, Kent was a hard character to like but as this story unfolds you get to see the real man behind the cocky playboy and I found myself falling for the loveable rogue. Looking forward to reading more from this talented author.

Star Review Quick Dirty Luck (Love Between The Pages) by Heather Guimond
Heather Guimond is a new author to me. Kent Kingsley and Alexis Lane were great characters. Alexis is a romance author who is not afraid to take chances and Kent is the CEO of a Las Vegas Hotel Casino where she is looking at an event.
At first I found  Kent to be a tad unlikable, in fact he was a jerk, it took me a while to warm up to him. However having said that  I really loved Kent and Alexis together and he grew on me as he did on Alexis.
Neither Kent nor Alexis are looking to become involved and yet that is what happens. The chemistry between Kent and Alexis was at times intense and off the charts Both are strong, determined people  and with Kent’s interfering family, it made for some interesting  and funny moments.
Miss communication is rife in this story;  will Kent and Alexis take a chance on a future together or will Alexis run?
I enjoyed Ms. Guimond’s writing style and found this book to be well written, entertaining and a fun read and I look forward to reading more from her in the future.

Heather Guimond is a Los Angeles native, a fact she's abnormally proud of. When she's not trying to write something that will make people laugh or rip their hearts out (or both!) she's either reading or doing her best to crack the whip on her three home-schooled teenagers. She loves all things witty and wise-cracking, as well most varieties of smart-assery. Other favorites include French roast coffee in copious amounts and the dirtiest Dirty Martinis she can find. More than anything, she hopes she writes books that stick with the reader long after the pages have been read.
