Even one-night stands deserve a second chance in New York Times bestselling author Rachel Van Dyken’s novel of sporting desire.
Risky Play, an all-new standalone contemporary romance by New York Times bestselling author Rachel Van Dyken is live!
What else can a virgin do when she’s ditched at the altar? Seattle heiress Mackenzie Dupont is treating herself to a single-girl honeymoon in Mexico and a desire to relinquish her innocence to a gorgeous one-night stand. Fake names. True pleasure. But when she wakes up alone, Mackenzie realizes just how much anger is left in her broken heart.
Suffering a tragic personal loss, pro soccer player Slade Rodriguez has his reasons for vanishing without a goodbye. Right or wrong, he’s blaming the beautiful and infuriating stranger he never wants to see again. They’re both in for a shock when Mackenzie shows up as his new personal assistant. And they both have a lot to learn about each other. Because they share more than they could possibly know, including a common enemy who’s playing his own games. And he’s not afraid to get dirty.
Now there’s only one way Mackenzie and Slade can win: to trust in each other and to stop hiding from the lies they’ve told, the secrets they’ve kept, the mistakes they’ve made, and the attraction that still burns between them.
A stand-alone, contemporary romance.

I think it's a sign of a great story when you finish a novella the same day you start it! It was great being back in Seaside and meeting new characters but also seeing how previous ones are doing. Although this book is short it packs a punch. I rather liked Penelope and her way with people, especially kids and Trevor's kids certainly make an impression.
Trevor is the drummer and a single dad.
Need I say more??? Lol. What starts out as Penelope working for him as the nanny, things definitely get interesting. Suffice it to say the caring family moments are beautiful and the whole story tugged at my heart. Such a great story and I certainly hope there's more on the horizon!!
This is the only story I have read in the crossover collection and I can't wait to read more!

I love cross over series and All Stars Fall did not disappoint it was everything I expect from this author and a cross over read.
Penelope left Cunningham Falls, Montana to start over because she needed a fresh start but the last thing she expected was to meet a rock star that she crushed over in her youth. After a chance meeting Penny seemed to fall into the job as part time nanny for rocker Trevor Wood and his adorable children and as she settles in at Seaside she realises there is no place else she would rather be.
Trevor Wood’s is getting over a messy divorce and he is trying to bring his twin 6 year old boys and his 4 year old little girl as normal as is possible when you have a rock star as a father could Penny be the perfect mix for his family or will lines be crossed and ruin it all........
I loved this book, I loved the characters, the wonderful and adorable kids as well as the swoon worthy rockers all had me sighing for different reasons. This story stole a piece of my heart and I’m really not sure I will ever get it back, what a fantastic read All Stars Fall was abd you need to read it......

After his ex-wife leaves them, rockstar Trevor Wood uproots his life and his children moving to Seaside, Oregon.
A chance meeting with Penelope in a coffee shop has Trevor convincing her to interview to be his childrens’ part time nanny.
After the NDA is signed, Penny realises that she may have signed up for more than she can handle.
Penny is great with the children and they are just too cute. The characters were easy to relate to and totally likeable. Trevor is an awesome single dad and the relationship he has with his children was heart warming.
The chemistry between Trevor and Penny is intense and I loved how it blossomed into so much more.
All Stars Fall is well written and kept me engaged from the first to the last chapter.
