Who says you can’t marry the same mistake twice?

Certainly not Nya Perez...because that’s precisely what she’s done.

Liam Watts is the bane of her existence.
Her first love. Father of her child. And breaker of her heart.

Oh, he’s also her ex-husband. Well, he was, anyway...right up til this morning, when she woke up beside him in a Vegas hotel room, sheathed in satin and tulle with a sinking feeling in the pit of her stomach.

If it were just between the two of them, an annulment would be the obvious solution. After all, they wouldn’t be the first to marry and divorce at the little white chapel in the span of twenty-four hours.

But their daughter’s greatest wish has just been granted, and if there’s one heart Nya wants to protect more than her own, it’s Ellie’s.

So, she promises to give it six months.

There’s no way she’ll be swayed by his thick southern drawl, those well-defined abs, or that annoyingly delectable scruff lining his cheeks.

Nope. She’s got it all under control. Six months of playing house, then everything can go back to the way it was before.

But first she’ll have to muddle through marriage with Liam—take two.

When I read the blurb for this book I was intrigued. Nya Perez and Liam Watts have a tangled and complicated relationship, he was her first love, the father of their daughter, Ellie and is now her ex husband.

This was one of those books that I didn't want to put down and is a great example of romantic comedy at it's finest. I spent a lot of time laughing so much my stomach hurt. There were oh so many snort out loud moments that my husband thought I was crazy and I ended up in tears; such was the hilarity found within these pages.

When Nya and Liam wake up in Vegas they find themselves married, what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas, right? Not always , particularly since it is Ellie’s dream to be a family again.

Despite reservations they agree to give it 6 months. Neither of them can deny the crazy and intense chemistry that sizzles between them. Take Two is a story full of love, romance and humour. In fact Ellie nearly stole the spotlight at times although there were moments when my emotions got the better of me.

One click this little gem, I don’t think you will be disappointed.

I want to start off with I loved everything about this second chance romance.
The blurb intrigued me but the story blew me away, I was touched on so many levels by Nya Perez and her ex husband Liam’s story. Liam was her first love and the father of her daughter Ellie and like most children (who are in a split home) Ellie wishes every birthday and Christmas for her parents to get back together, so imagine her surprise when Nya and Liam arrive home announcing they have tied the knot, but it’s not all it seems and Nya has told Liam in no uncertain terms he needs to prove himself over the next six months because she won’t let him break her heart again......
This book has all the feels, it’s a story of love, romance, passion and humour, it has plenty of laugh out loud moments and as you would expect from this author Ellie stole the show with her classic one liners only a child could deliver. I loved the characters, the plot, the chemistry well I loved it all and I really didn’t want this book to end so I urge you all to one click this gem of a read.

What a wonderful second chance story!
I really enjoyed it as it showed what a lot of couples can face in relationships!
I really liked the characters, there was fun banter and some great innuendo and some steamy moments to round the book up!
I laughed in parts and definitely thought the author wrote a great read! Liam and Nya’s book is definitely interesting and at times you can really understand how they both feel! I liked Nya and her attitude! She was after a partner that would be there for her. Who could blame her??
Can she trust Liam again? Or will she be disappointed?
I really loved their daughter Ellie, some of the stuff out of her mouth was brilliant!!
A great second chance romance with a side of humour!
