I bow down to the sheer brilliance of Ms Ward for writing such a compelling, slow burn romance!
This book blew me away. In the words, the characters! The moments shared, the conversations had and the absolute beautiful love story that could possibly stand the test of time. It was a story that I really could not put down.
It was incredibly heartfelt! I felt so many emotions throughout the whole book and its a definite favourite read for me.
I truly admired Felicity and her guarded demeanour. When shes caught looking through the binoculars at two men in the house across the bay, needless to say when they meet, fireworks! Leo and his cousin Sig are British and renting the house for the summer. I loved the banter, the way Sig has a knack for saying rather funny inappropriate things….who doesn’t want someone in their life like that?!
Leo and Felicity strike up a friendship and its the way they are with each other, with the swoony way Leo is, just made my heart so happy. Coming from different countries certainly causes a conundrum though and honestly I wondered which way the book would go.
Finally, I have to say JUST READ IT!
Its amazing and I highly recommend you put it high on your tbr list.

The Aristocrat by Penelope Ward is such a wonderful book, a book to appreciate every hour written to write this amazing story.

Everything about this book, everything is beautiful, the characters ate strong with a great sense of worth.
Felicity’s behaviour throughout is applaudable.
Leo, well, what can I say, he is extremely thoughtful, extremely loving, he has a beautiful heart.
I had so many emotions reading this book, a definite reread.
Written beautifully this book brings together Leo Covington & Felicity Dunleavy, their connection was immediate.
Leo’s cousin Sigmund ( Sig ) Benedictus is such a wonderful secondary character.
A magnificent book that you will not be able to put down or forget.
