The Assignment is a very easy to read, entertaining sort of enemies to lovers romance that will make you laugh, feel heated and genuinely like the characters.
I really enjoyed this book. A real feel good book as a great escape from reality and I really didn’t want it to end!
I genuinely loved Aspyn, for her strength and courage and her ability to be such a caring person. When she sees Troy, needless to say the high school memories come flooding back. Oh my goodness, the flipping sizzling tension between these two, you could almost cut it with a knife!
Aspyn is the activities coordinator at the aged care home where Troys grandfather resides. Needless to say the friction in this story will have you on tender hooks!
There is also something about both of them that tug at my heartstrings! What happens when the undeniable chemistry can no longer be ignored?
Omg….so flipping good and so many feels! You definitely need to have this book on your tbr list!
This book is magnificent, Penelope Ward writes marvelous books, this book is one that kept me up all night reading as it was just too good to put down.
Such a feel-good read, with characters that went straight to my heart.
Aspyn and Troy were enemies at High School years later they met at a nursing home where Aspyn works, and Troy was visiting his grandfather….
How this story progresses is brilliant, such an intense love story that has terrific sexual banter that had me laughing out loud!
As they both look back at past mistakes, they realize that they have to become a better person if they have a chance of love and commitment.
Aspyn needs to let down her walls, but she finds it extremely difficult.
Her niece Kiki is wonderful, her bond with Troy is perfect.
Troy is one hunk of a wonderful guy.
