It started out like any other Tuesday.
I spent twelve hours writing algorithms for one of the largest companies in the world and then came home to work on a pet project of mine—feeding facts about the men I knew into a formula to find my perfect match before my twenties came barreling to a close.
But then a man knocked on my door and handed me some papers that turned my life upside down.
Apparently, a father I never knew existed had left me something in his will. That something turned out to be part ownership in a professional football team.
Next thing I knew, I was learning a sport I knew nothing about by spending time with the team’s quarterback who was out with an injury, a man who my formula would definitely determine was all wrong for me.
Christian Knox was too handsome and confident for his own good and could have any woman he wanted. Only lately the only woman he seemed to want was me.
But there was no way I was getting involved when I was now his boss, even if he was insanely gorgeous and had the dirtiest mouth I’d ever come across.
It would be wrong, wouldn’t it?
Probably. But you know what they say about things that are wrong...sometimes they feel so right.

The Game by Vi Keeland is such a wonderful book that is beautifully written.
The banter and the smooth-talking from Christian are perfections!
From the first few pages, I knew I would fall into this book.
Their chemistry together is magnetic, a moving story that had me on my toes.
Bella is a wonderfully written heroine who has so much strength, is so thoughtful so ordinary that made me love her more.
Christian, who wouldn't want a guy like him?
Together their connection is electric, don't forget sizzling!
With twists and turns, the plot or / twist is marvellously written.
Once started I couldn't put the book down.

The Game is a wonderful, heartfelt story that I didn’t want to end. This book centres on Christian and Bella.
Bella has not had an easy life growing up, her mother having passed at a young age. Surprisingly, she receives an unexpected inheritance as an owner of the Bruins football team. Bella is a nerd, used to dealing with numbers, she has to learn how to run a football team and needless to say she definitely has her job cut out for her.
Christian might be the quarterback but off due to an injury, he has his eyes set on winning over the new owner. He’s not accustomed to being told no, so he sets out to get on Bella’s good side. I found him to be a caring, swoonworthy character. I also really felt for Bella and her situation. She does her utmost for those people she trusts, can she trust Christian?
I had a niggly feeling that something would happen and for the actual truth to come out, but I wondered how Bella would cope with it all.
A rather enjoyable read!
