I Could Never is a story that will hook you and has all the feels. Its a book with characters that embedded themselves into my soul. I honestly needed a few days to come to terms with how this wonderful heartfelt book made me feel. All the things, everything and then some. There were moments I shed some tears and some where I laughed.
Carly and Josh along with Scottie are characters that have made this one of my absolute favourite reads of the year! Carly lost her best friend, her fiance when he passed, but is willing to help take care of his autistic brother Scottie. Needless to say when Josh turns up also to help take care of Scottie, the frustration and way the storyline goes is nothing short of heartwarming too.
I found this story to be a realistic masterpiece and I am honestly lost for words and highly recommend you pick it up and devour it just as I did.
I Could Never by Penelope Ward is worthy of so much more than 5 stars!
Such an incredible story with every character owning their part 100%.
Caring for Scottie opened my eyes to another way of life a life of hard work plus many challenges that can reap so many rewards.
I wanted to hug him dearly.
Carley Garber and Josh Mathers’ story is one you will never forget, it's very true to life very emotional plus beautifully written.
One phone call changes the lives of many giving responsibilities to Carley and Josh that made their lives completely different from the lives they had.
This book is one of those special books that need to be on my shelf.
Love — so much.
