Jorja and Jocko’s story is a little sad in what happened in the past but their reconnection is heartwarming. Jocko is a retired Navy Seal, returning home to put down roots. He has his trusty K9 by his side and their bond is just wonderful. Truly their dynamic just touched my heart. I loved that Jorja has such a great attitude and how the chemistry between them is incredibly sizzling. Needless to say when she has to write an article about an Everyday Hero for her work, she sees just how incredible Jocko’s abilities are. The road these two venture on in the small town is a second chance romance with lots of heart. A really good read.
