After reading the first book in the series, My Beautiful Poison, I have been anxiously waiting for the second book My Wicked Heart.

This book blew me away everything I wished for happened but,  A huge BUT where family is concerned.

I was absolutely absorbed before I knew it I had finished.

Rylee has matured into a magnificent woman, she is her own person thoroughly independent.

August — the bad boy, whose past was not all of his making, there are always choices to make whether we make the right one’s we have to suffer the consequences..

The storyline flowed, its so easy to be connected with the main characters.

There is much to read in this book, so much, the characters learn about themselves and others.

An excellent book that continues the journey of Rylee and August.

Is there passion between them still or not?!

This is a spellbinding read, I wish I could more stars ..

Compelling.. This was such an absorbing story from the first chapter I was hooked … Great characters that you could feel as the writing was extremely good holding my interest all through the book .. Enter August, who for reasons your read in the book is known as a bad boy ,where others opinions would say he doesn’t conform to approved standards of behavior. There are always reasons nothing is black and white also people judge ….often wrongly. Enter Rylee , who has a privileged life-style ,who doesn’t take her life for granted . Their attraction is there from the start , Rylee is unafraid to ask for what she wants … She wants to capture August's heart plus she wants his body , all of him .. Such a strong female , interesting character that was a pleasure to get to know … . When life sets you up with the wrong people that you cannot escape from no matter how you try, they seem to win dragging you down to the depths of despair behind bars ..August is on the road to a second chance still these people are there trying their best to make a mess of his life again! Rylee is fearless; she knows what she wants---- August ....... To say I loved this book is an understatement I was completely invested .. All the characters are strong all are still in my mind … Book two is coming soon and I cannot wait for the conclusion.
