Title: How to Liv
Synopsis
A chance encounter can
change everything.
Olivia Moore is your average hard working, down to earth,
Aussie chick.
Taking each day as it comes, working in a factory, Olivia is
just plodding along through life. She’s resigned herself to the fact she’s not
going to get her happily ever after, a husband… kids… because she has given up
on men - they lie and cheat, leaving a world of pain in their wake.
Then Olivia meets Joel.
Joel Turner is hard working, down to earth, sexy, kind, fun… in
fact, he’s damn near perfect. Joel is exactly the type of man Olivia has always
wanted. He stirs emotions in her that have laid dormant for years. He breaks
down her walls, forcing Olivia to fall in love and to finally believe fairy
tales really can come true.
Until she discovers something that could change it all.

Megan Keith is a married, mother of three, living in a small country
town in New South Wales, Australia. She
has loved reading books for as long as she can remember, but it wasn’t until
she got given a kindle that she became a full-blown reading addict. Her introduction to the world of indie
authors re-ignited her passion for writing.
Megan has published the first two books in a new adult romance trilogy,
Finding My Way and Crossroads, with the third still a work in process. She also has written an erotic novella called
Eraser. How to Liv is her fourth published book.

I have given this book 5 stars as I
absolutely loved it. From the very first chapter I felt like I had a permanent
smile on my face. Megan has written this book so well, I couldn’t help be so
engrossed with the characters. I laughed, cried and felt rather HOT from the
sex….LOL.
Olivia Moore is almost 30 and works at an
essential oil company, her sister Ally lives temporarily with her. After
another hectic day at work she is at the supermarket and sees a rather hot man
there and they keep bumping into each other.
She reaches for a pack of Tim Tam biscuits
(a fave Aussie treat!!) and so does the handsome man, aka Joel Turner, 35,
tiler and GORGEOUS!!
Eventually from this meeting they get to know one another and
I have to say we see a lot of great things from these two. There is some
heartbreak as with any relationship, some very interesting parts involving
other characters and some hard truths that lead them eventually to their HEA.
At different parts throughout the book, I
just had to message Megan…to tell her that OMG I can’t believe that just
happened.
I now have a new favourite word, instead of
saying Thanks, I will now say Spanks…when you read the book you will understand.
The banter between the 2 main characters as well as with their friends is very entertaining.
I love Joel’s friends Adam, Raelene and their daughter Chelsea, kind of wish I
had friends like them, so caring and fun to be around. Karen, one of Olivia’s
workmates, was a hoot!!!
All in all this was an outstanding book by
Aussie author Megan Keith!!!
Make sure you put it on your TBR list
today, you will not be disappointed!!
EXCERPT:
Olivia:
*“I
must be dreaming! Joel was just too good to be true. After such an amazing day,
he tops it off by spooning me? Best. Day. Ever. The problem was past experience
assured me – if it felt too good to be true then it generally was. I went to
sleep wondering how and when the other shoe was going to drop and destroy my
happiness.
Happiness
like I’d never felt before.”
*From a night drinking at Adam &
Raelene’s: this is too funny and one of my fave parts!!!
“Are
you suffering at all?” “Yep, I’m just faking it. Plus it helps that I got up in
the night and sculled like a litre of cordial.”
“I
should have done that,” I said, sitting on a bar stool and wincing at the
hardness of it. Just how much sex did I have last night?
“I
gather you were probably too busy.” She wriggled her eyebrows up and down then
added in a
soft,
exaggerated tone, “Fuck me already!”
“I
beg your pardon?” Joel asked with a chuckle, walking up behind me while I hid
my face with
embarrassment.
She heard me? I could just die right now! “Are you propositioning my
girlfriend,
Raelene?”
“No,
not at all,” she replied seriously, shaking her head. Then she burst out
laughing. “I’m fairly certain she had more than her fill last night!” I buried
my face in my arms against the kitchen
counter.
Joel’s hand started rubbing my back soothingly. I peered over my shoulder to
see the
smug
look on his face before quickly hiding again. He’s enjoying this!
“Oh
Joel,” Adam said in a silly girly voice as he entered the room a moment later.
I lifted my head in
time
to see him dry humping my boyfriend from behind. “Fuck me already! Oh yes!”
“Oh.
My. God!” I cringed, trying hard to fight the smile
that was trying to come out.
“Yes,
I think I heard that last night too!” Raelene butted in, causing everyone to
laugh really loudly. I
couldn’t
hold it in after that either. Letting out an embarrassed giggle, I got up from
the stool and buried my reddened face in Joel’s chest.“Remind
me not to drink at next week’s party,” I
mumbled.
His arms wrapped around me and I quickly let the humiliation go. Nothing really
mattered when I was in his hold.
