This is my first book that I have read by Vi and I have to
say OMG!!
Vinny was first seen in Worth the Fight, he was a teenager
then. In Worth the Chance it is Vinny’s story.
You meet Liv and Vince who knew each other growing up. They
fell hard for each other only to be torn apart. Years later, a grownup Liv who
looks like a sexy goddess in heels. Met Vinny at a gym where he was teaching a
self-defense class. Vinny recognized her right away. She might have changed her
appearance from high school but he knew her the minute she turned her back to
face him.
Vinny he is a fighter and always will be. He got into
trouble while in school. He figured let’s make it a profession, fight for a
living. He was also a sex hound, who used woman just for sex. Hot sex at that
too! Things changed though when Liv walked back into his live.
Liv and Vinny were a few years apart. So when he left high
school she still had a year or so before she graduated. They lost contact with
each other and Liv went onto college to become a writer. This is why she was at
the gym. Her paper wanted a story on Vinny because of a fight that was coming
up. At the time though Liv didn’t know she was interviewing Vinny.
Liv built up walls because Vinny broke her heart. Vinny was
passionate about getting Liv and not just not for a one night stand. In order
to do this though, he has to prove himself to Liv. She isn’t going to make that
easy. They talk and get to know each other again. But really Vinny he knows
her. He never forgot her.
Their passion for one another is great. They get their
second chance at a first time love. They
have their up’s and down’s like most relationships. They also have hot ass sex
as well. I mean come on. Vinny is an MMA fighter so you know he is sex on a
stick. He likes to take control and Liv is willing to give it to him.
I really couldn’t put the book down. Their story cuts to
high school days. Which is great, you get to see how they were with each other.
You also got to see Nico and his wife from the first book. I haven’t read but will be soon. I can’t wait
to see how their story is told and how it unfolds. I can’t say enough good things about this
book. I loved it, and I want more. I don’t really want to give too much away,
so you will have to pick up your copy and trust me when I say you will like it.
