WOW!!! 5 STARS +

OMG…where do I start with this  amazing, captivating addition to The Blackstone Affair series. So many emotions came through my head…….
Raine Miller has certainly given us a story that is filled with love and devotion. I loved it, I cried  in parts as I am sure you will when you read it, have some tissues handy.
Ethan and his filthy mouth , SIGH..then there is his romantic and caring side to the love of his life-Brynne. I loved hearing about how she faired during her pregnancy and the birth of their baby.
Brynne is so very understanding of Ethan and the torment of his past, just as Ethan is to hers. We read more about what went on there  and then there was a scare, which you will read about, that was incredibly heartbreaking, my head was thinking OH ETHAN!!!!!.  The sex is as HOT as ever…when has it not been between those two. OH MY!!!! Brynne is one very lucky lady…that’s for sure.
Brynne & Ethan’s connection to each other has always been incredible & this book will see them cement their relationship further than it already was, then to become the ever loving doting parents to their “Peaches”. Awwwwwwww!!
Sad to see the series end.  I certainly hope we hear more about them at some stage, as I cannot imagine not reading about the Blackstone family, they have certainly made my love of reading all the more enjoyable.
To Raine Miller- I sincerely cannot wait to meet you in Sydney, to thank you personally for writing these amazing, incredible and enjoyable books. They will forever be in my mind as I am sure they will for a lot of other readers.

5 Smokin’ Ethan Stars
First I want to say get your tissues out. This was one emotional read for me. One minute you’re laughing the next you’re shedding a tear.
Ethan and his wonderful, filthy mouth. He works magic with that thing, I tell you what.
With any new marriage there will be rough patches. With Brynne it was double. Not only was she a newlywed but she was pregnant. She is still concerned about her ever changing body, and if Ethan still wants her. Most woman, look wonderful while they are pregnant. People say they glow. Not only did Brynne glow she blossomed.
As we know in the other 3 books both Ethan and Brynne have a dark past. In Rare and Precious things they manage to work through that darkness. Brynne is there for Ethan, while he cops with loosing friends, who he considers brothers. Ethan has a hard time when it comes to Brynne and her meeting her past. We all know how she was hurt and she was ashamed of what happened. She even left U.S because of it.  As much as I would like to go into more detail about how each of them managed through that period in their life. I won’t. I don’t want to give too much away.
We also get to see Neil and Elaina again. I love those 2. While at their wedding Ethan seems distant to Brynne. This gets things rolling in her head. Does Ethan still want her? Now that she is pregnant is he done with her? I am sure we all asked these questions. Hello Brynne you are his American Girl, his Beauty, you are not going anywhere that I know of.
Oh oh oh…the good part. IT’S A………………..BABY!!!! hahaha you thought I was going to say the sex. Nope not going to happen, not at all. You have to read the book to find that part out. I can say that it brings tears to your eyes. After an accident that rips your heart out. When I got to this part, I literally almost screamed out “No Raine what are you doing?” But I was in a car dealership waiting for my car to be serviced. I actually almost yelled that 2 times.  Although I am glad to see that Ethan and Brynne get their Happily Ever After I am sad to see that this is the last of them. I do hope that Raine continues with other characters from The Blackstone Affairs so we can get a glimpse of Ethan and Brynne and baby peaches.

If you haven’t read this series yet you must. This is 1 of my many favorite series I have read to date. Thank you Raine for bringing them to life and making them part of my book world.

“BELLA, you look magnificent, the glow in your cheeks, everything, is utter perfection.” Marco, kissed me on both cheeks as was custom, then held me at arm’s length for a thorough perusal. “Lovely dress. I can see that marriage and motherhood is agreeing with you, darling.”

I felt Ethan’s hand at my back soften and relax at Marco’s friendly, but appropriate greeting. Maybe he’d get over his paranoia that Marco was trying to bag me every time he photographed me. Ethan just didn’t understand that Marco wasn’t like that at all. He was a professional photographer doing a job with me, and nothing more. Well, nothing more than a working, platonic friendship. He’d always been kind to me, and I liked working with Marco Carvaletti very much. I hoped Ethan could see it here tonight as we all interacted.

“It is, Marco, and I don’t think I could be any happier.” I leaned into Ethan, nudging him to speak up.

“Mr. Carvaletti, thank you for the invitation. We’ve been looking forward to this all day.” Ethan lied smoothly, offering his hand, playing the social gentleman to perfection, which he was well skilled at. I guess he did it out of love for me. I knew he didn’t want to be here anymore than he wanted me modeling. I mouthed a thank you only visible to him. He kissed me on the cheek and whispered in my ear, “Don’t forget about Simba, baby.” Then he wandered off to get drinks for us.

Marco took me on a tour of his elegantly restored 17th century villa as I marveled at all of the art. He had a whole room set up as a gallery of his photographs. There were a couple of me in there. One where I sat in a formal chair with one knee up, strategically placed, my expression far away and pensive. The other pose was a side view recreation of a vintage Ziegfeld Follies girl with a feather boa and some satin pumps. It was one of the first portraits I posed for and I really thought it was nicely choreographed.

“It is a beautiful piece, bella. I knew when we did that series you had the gift.” Marco stood behind me admiring the image he had created with me as the subject.

“I was so nervous posing, but you made me laugh when you told me to imagine Iggy Pop in a dress.” I shrugged. “That broke the ice and I was fine after that.”

“That one works for me every time, bella.”

“Well, Iggy Pop in a dress is funny, so good job, Marco.” We laughed together and made our way back to the main gathering.

Where was Ethan with my drink? I scanned the room for sight of him, but didn’t see his tall form standing out among the crowd anywhere. And I needed water.

“He is talking to Carolina and Rogelio, my friends,” Marco said, correctly reading my quest to find Ethan. “I believe they have discovered they are acquainted already.”

Really? Ethan knew people at this party? I suppose it wasn’t as bad as he’d predicted it would be after all. Couldn’t wait to bust him about his whining to come here.

“Oh, well that’s great. I look forward to meeting them. But first, I need to get some water. I’m really thirsty after spending a long time swimming in the ocean today. Must be all the salt.”

“Come with me, bella, I will take care of you.”

Raine Miller has been reading romance novels since she picked up that first Barbara Cartland book at the tender age of thirteen. And it's a safe bet she'll never stop, because now she writes them too! Granted Raine's stories are edgy enough to turn Ms. Cartland in her grave, but to her way of thinking, a hot, sexy hero never goes out of fashion. A part-time teacher and writer of sexy romance stories every other chance she gets pretty much fills her days. She has a handsome prince of a husband, and two brilliant sons to pull her back into the real world if the writing takes her too far away. Her sons know she likes to write stories, but gratefully have never asked to read any, thank God! Raine loves to hear from readers and to chat about the characters in her books.
