“But they’re going to come in after us. We need to leave.” Her voice rises with urgency and I know I need to calm her down before she does something stupid out of fear.
“Good. Let them come in after us. We know they’re out there. They’re not expecting us to be ready for them. We know the layout of this cabin. They don’t. We’re going to position ourselves in a way that makes it impossible for them to surprise us. In here, we have the advantage.”

Let me start off with you have to read Hidden in Lies first. Uncovered by Truth is the 2nd book in this 2 book series. This book Uncovered by Truth picks up where Hidden in Lies leaves off. All your answers will be answered and then some.
We know Alex was Elizabeth's body guard in Hidden in Lies. We saw a relationship blossom between the two. However we didn't know much about Alex.
Uncovered by Truth we see a glimpse of his past and how he became the man he is today.
Alex is a true alpha male when it comes to Elizabeth. Their hush, hush relationship kind of breaks some rules.
Cal is still the evil bastard as we know. He is down right evil. He is less of a man, dirt that I walk on. I don't know how Rachael was able to write him. I can't stand him. If he was real I would spit in his face.
There are still many secrets to be let out. Alex and Elizabeth both have them. There is so much action that I had to re-read a few parts to be sure I was getting it. Their adventure is heart breaking, but yet unique in a way.
While reading Uncovered by Truth I felt like I was walking besides Alex. The way the story flowed smoothly.
Call me dumb but I thought there was another book. So when the end came along I was like "what?" However I wouldn't change it.
What secrets are still kept? Does Alex and Elizabeth get their HEA? Can Cal redeem himself? You have to pick up Uncovered by Truth to find out. Like I said before you have to read Hidden in Lies first though.
