This is my first read by Alexis......
I have to say WOW!! The beginning of the book was freaking hawt.
You meet 2 characters who never met before and had a one night stand.
The next thing you know these 2 people are put into a room together and what do you get? Attitude!
Samantha who is a star meets Hunter who will now be her security. It took a minute for Hunter to realize who Sam was. Then it hit him....and it hit him hard.
These two their banter is off the charts. Smart mouthed Sam against a filthy mouth Hunter.
Sam's mother is the wicked step mother from hell! I hated her. I mean who's mother treats their daughter like that. Her mom only cared about money and if Sam made her appearances on time and what she physically looked like.
Once Hunter saw how Sam was treated by her mom, he stood up and gave her a piece of his mind. However it went in one ear and out the other. Sam she then started to get a backbone when it came to her mom.
Sam's life in danger, she escapes within herself. Hunter see's this and he helps bring her back to life. She hasn't done normal things in so long. Hunter takes her out and has FUN. She learns how to be normal again. However being in the spotlight causes weird, creepy people to come out the wood works. I had a feeling I knew who was terrorizing Sam. Boy never in my mind did I think there were others.
Hunter is so alpha male. He proves it more than once. He doesn't like others touching her, looking at her like they want to eat her alive. Sam she has the same exact feelings. She can't stand Hunter talking to woman she don't know. The touching, the flirting.
Really bad things happen. Which had me wanting to read quick but slow, so that I got every detail. I had to re-read a few things a couple of times. I didn't want to miss anything.
I have to tell you, I almost threw my kindle at the end. I couldn't believe what I was reading. I was like WTH?? No way!! I told myself keep reading, keep reading. Sure glad I did. There is a romance, there is filthy talk, their is suspense and there is LOVE!

Alexis Noelle lives in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania with her husband, and three kids. On top a writing career, she is a full-time student and a full-time mom. She loves spending time with her kids, although she has to hide the computer from them when she is writing! She love being active and being outdoors, especially if it involves any kind of shopping.
