Review by Maimeo's Angels: Wicked Games by A.D. Justice

Investigative reporter Brianna Tate stumbled upon a career-making story that changed her entire life. When the trail led her into a dangerous web of lies, she was forced to choose between destroying the man she loved and giving up her entire life to enter WITSEC. After three years of living as someone else, everything changed when her true identity and location were discovered.

Noah “Reaper” Steele created a successful business in Steele Security, but he never fully recovered after he lost Brianna. He shared his bed with other women but they never had his heart. Noah's life solely revolved around his work. Everything changed the night he caught an intruder in his house and learned it was actually his long-dead love, Brianna.

With their reunion, they discovered the passion that fueled their relationship was still alive, burning hotter than ever. However, even Noah’s love couldn’t erase the sting of her betrayal, and he wrestled with allowing her back in his life. Brianna was the only woman he’d ever loved, but he wasn’t sure he could forgive her treachery. For both to survive, Noah and Brianna had to band together, uncover the truth, and reveal the real threat before it was too late.

In his fight against the wicked games that surrounded him, would he end up losing her all over again?

Recommended for readers 18+ due to language, violence and sexual content.

4 star Review

I received this book in exchange for an honest review.
This was a new author to me and this is book 1 in the Steel Security series. This is an erotic suspense
novel, one of my favourite genres, with quite a few twists and turns.
This book starts off in the present, and then goes into the past so that you get the back story of how
Brianna Tate and Noah “Reaper” Steele first met and what happened to bring them to their present
circumstances,
This is a book that is hard to review, not because I didn’t enjoy it, because I certainly did, but because I do not want to give any spoilers away. It is one of those books that you need to read. The premise of the story is interesting and I applaud A.D. Justice on writing a book that had a variety of layers to it.
Brianna and Noah first met when she was on an assignment writing a story on the men of Delta Force. Noah or Reaper as he is known was the officer in charge of the group that she interviewed. Their connection was almost instantaneous. Noah is totally an alpha; dominant and protective of those he loves.
Circumstances ripped Bri and Noah apart, only for them to reunite a year later. Meeting again they
find that neither of their feelings has changed and they dive head first into a relationship. However
there have been some changes; Noah has created and heads Steele Security along with Rebel and Bull whilst Brianna is now an investigative journalist, often taking on the dangerous assignments no one
else wants. I really loved Noah, and Brianna. I also loved the other members of his Delta Force Team, Rebel, Bull and Shadow and I certainly hope that they too get their own books.
Circumstances yet again, rip these two apart, only to have Bri return 3 years later after she leaves
Witness Protection. Danger and intrigue lurk, putting those that Bri and Noah love in danger. Will
they all survive? Will they be able to forgive each other and trust that this time their love will
triumph? You will have to read the book to find out….

A.D. Justice is the best selling author of the Steele Security Series (Wicked Games, Wicked Ties, and the upcoming Wicked Nights), the Crazy Series (Crazy Maybe, Crazy Baby), and the Dominic Powers series (Her Dom, Her Dom's Lesson).

When she's not writing, she's spending time with her own alpha male character in their north Georgia mountain home. She is also an avid reader of romance novels and enjoys reading many different types of romance books.

She is a master at procrastination, a chocolate sommelier, a twister of words, and speaks fluent sarcasm.
