I was given this book for a honest review
Elle Casey is a new author to me and I really enjoyed Lost and Found.
It is a true romantic comedy and at times had me laughing out loud. It did take me a few chapters to connect with James and Leah but I'm so glad I persevered through those chapters.
Leah is a free spirit who believes in Karma. She will help anyone she can even if that means giving her last dime away......
James or Dr Boo as Leah calls him is a high profile plastic surgeon with a few issues......
The fun begins when Leah finds a expensive ring in a fountain, she believes the ring is bringing her bad luck and she must return it to the rightful owner problem is that owner James does not want it back......
James and Leah once they connect are just so funny, the two of them trying to change a diaper for the first time after James niece has had a baby blow out was hilarious .......
What you get with this book is romance with some sex and a whole lot of comedy.
To me its a typical holiday beach read and I'm looking forward to more in this series

3.5 Star Review
I was given this book in exchange for an honest review.
This was a new author to me. Leah is a hippie, whilst James is a wealthy surgeon. They meet several times by accident as Leah searches for the owner of the engagement ring she found.
I found this to be unusual read and I think I would use quirky to describe this book. The first part was all from Leah’s point of view, then the next from James’s point of view, followed by the final part in both their points of view. To be honest I found it distracting.
There were times when I laughed out loud, as it certainly had its funny moments. This was a light hearted read; although you had to wait for the majority of the book to be over for the romance to kick in and to be honest I found that to be a little odd in my opinion. I enjoyed when they finally got together but felt that it was a little rushed at the end.
I would be interested to see where the author takes the series. The next two books in the Love In New York series Love in New York: Book 2 (Cabin Fever) and Love in New York: Book 3 (Mister Fixit)
