Cindi Madsen is a new author to me and I hope to read more of her books.
This is a story about an aspiring reporter and a star hockey player.
Whitney has just landed a job on the college paper but in order to keep it she needs to come up with a story and expose how sports scholarship students get preferential treatment with there other subjects. She needs to get in with the hockey team ......
Hudson is one of the star hockey players and he struggles with his other subjects but will he cross the line for his beloved hockey.......
Hudson is a player and he can have any girl he wants but he wants Whitney, does she want him or is he a means to a end for a story.
This is a sweet romance with a lot of banter and wit , the characters are lovable and they have chemistry. I love hockey books but this one is more than just a romance about a sexy hockey player this book also covers the problems facing students on scholarships when it comes to maintaining grades.

This is the first book I have read of author Cindi Madsen and it certainly won't be my last!
I really enjoyed Anatomy of a player!
It's a college romance and I just loved Whitney and her friend Lyla! I loved the way the story went, even the sad moments!!
Hudson Decker, hockey player and a player, meets Whitney and what eventuates between the two is heartfelt as well as rather funny at times!
I rather enjoyed the pick up lines, lol! I loved the brotherly bond between Hudson and his friend Dane!
I thought the way the characters opened up to each other was wonderful and I truly felt like I was there experiencing what was going on!
I really loved the ending, I just wanted to swoon at Hudson, truly!! You'll know why when you read it!! A great read!
