King’s Baby is a gritty romance, written by an author who is obviously not afraid to take controversial issues and make them her own. This was an extremely well written book and I look forward to reading more from Emerson Rose.
King wants out, but it isn’t so simple a decision. He has inherited the Romero drug empire and all that entails and trying to leave this life, will put him and those he cares about in danger.
Enter Holland, a 19 year old innocent, a violinist.
Emerson Rose is the pen name of an author I am familiar with. As with her other books King’s Baby was full of emotion, heartache, shocks and surprises. Just when you think nothing will shock you, you turn the page and wham!
I laughed, I cried, I screamed and I shook my head. It’s that kind of a book. Things change dramatically from one moment to the next and there were moments when I felt simply gob smacked.
Their chemistry is electrifying, but will it be enough? You need to read this book to find out.
Well done Emerson Rose, you have a winner on your hands. I highly recommend this book and suggest you add it to your TBR ASAP.
