This is their first collaboration together, Talk about coming out of the gate at full speed… this book is the first in the new The Elite Forces Series and what a way to start. To say this series will be a winner for Hilary Storm and Kathy Coopmans is an understatement in my humble opinion.
Captain Jade Elliott is the first female to graduate as a Ranger. Tough and determined to succeed, she has worked hard to earn the respect of her team and her superiors in Special Forces.
Kaleb Maverick has been called back to active service to act as the Commander for this top secret mission that Jade has been assigned too. Kaleb is a dominant alpha male, not afraid to go after what he wants; a successful outcome to his mission and Captain Jade Elliot, not necessarily in that order.
The continuity between the authors was seamless. I have no idea who wrote which part and honestly, it doesn’t matter. It was brilliant from start to finish.
I particularly love that Jade is so strong and dominant and yet vulnerable to Kaleb. She’s not scared to go after what she wants and yet she also has the necessary gonads to seek help when she knows she needs it.
I am in love with Kaleb Maverick, so much so that I want a Kaleb Maverick in my life.
Hot military men and women, raunchy and kinky sex; Ice has it all. The action is wild and the rollercoaster of emotions will get to you. I was on the edge of my seat particularly towards the end of the book. Be warned there is a cliff-hanger.
Whilst I wanted Kaleb and Jade to reach their happily ever after, I knew as I read Ice, that it was not possible in one book. It was one of the best I have read this year. I cannot to read Fire, the next book in the series, due late April to see how their story continues. They say patience is a virtue. Well here’s one woman who doesn’t want to wait!

This is book one in The Elite Forces Series and its the first joint adventure by Hilary Storm and Kathy Coopmans and what a way to start.....
If I could have given this book more stars I would have, I loved that you aren't sure which of these authors wrote what bits, it just gels so well and its written beautifully.
I love Captain Jade Elliott she is one sexy, sassy, kick ass woman and she broke every single one of the seven cores she pledged ....
Maverick is hot as hell and one sexy alpha male and what can I say about that dirty dirty mouth ....
I'm not going to give the story away but if you love hot military stories this is the book for you, Its full of action, and sex in every possible place you can think off .....
There is a cliffhanger but book 2 comes out in April so not long to wait ......
