I’m not sure how to start my review to do this book justice. It was gripping, suspenseful and so incredibly HOT.
I was unsure before reading just how the book would be, as the cover is quite Oh…spiderish!!!…Yes I’m making that a word and yes I read the synopsis, but my thought was that I would definitely love to read it as I loved the authors other books so much. I had faith she would write something incredible and this book blew me away!!!!! I couldn’t put it down.
Lauren Runow has captured me in this story of seduction, love and suspense and you really will be so surprised at where the story goes. This book is packed with scorching moments, that will make you sizzle. There will be times that will have you scratching your brain along with the characters as to what’s going on….but wait…there is a twist and you will not see that coming. I literally had my hand over my mouth. WOW.
I really loved the way the characters interacted. I loved Preston, Kamii and Becca. The way Preston was trying to overcome his wife dying and live his life. Kamii, for discovering more of herself and Becca for helping her. I was sad about a certain part and I really did love how it ended.
The author has definitely written a book that will make you feel, think and shock you too. I know it did for me.
