I haven't read The Love series, The Wrapped Series or The Burning Soul Series and it made no difference to the enjoyment I got from this book, I will say this is a very different story to any other book I have read from MJ it's not a Steele or a Caldwell book but it does still have a strong family at its core.
Ava has loved Luke since she could remember, she tried everything she knew to get him to return the feelings but all Luke is interested in after falling into a dark place is fucking not loving.
Thomas the drummer from Burning Souls has always wanted Ava the way she always wanted Luke and when her heart is broken yet again he is waiting to pick her up. T is Ava's knight in shining armour but their story does not get a fairytale ending.
I feel in love with Ava and T and I read this book in one sitting, I cried and I mean ugly tears but this is a beautifully written love story that felt real because let's be honest not everyone gets their HEA sometimes there is suffering, hope and heartbreak.
I loved this book and I will be looking to read the Love, Wrapped and Burnt Soul series.

Love, what is it?? A feeling, an emotion??? We learn so much about love in this story!
This book delves into Ava's life, love, family and friends!
She has a bit of a sad time in the beginning. When she blurts out those 3 little words and things don't go to plan.
I had a little trouble getting thru the earlier parts of this story but once things got better for Ava I enjoyed it!!
I laughed, shed a few tears and felt love from a particular relationship!!
But just when you think things are rosy and looking up, the author adds in a curveball that will have you shocked and wondering how on earth Ava will cope.
I loved some of the beautiful love quotes in this book! There were romantic moments that will have you gushing, feeling and wanting more!
I look forward to the next book in this series!
