Bear is the manwhore we met in the Men of Inked Series, he is City's best friend and I'm so glad that Chelle Bliss gave him his own story because it really is a story worth telling. What's worse than dating your friends sister well I guess that would be sleeping with your friends mother....
This is a story about two people going through the motions of life but not really living. Franny spends her days hiding in her oversized comfortable tracksuits only caring that her son Morgan is ok, she has been badly burnt once so there is no room for a man in her life. Bear's background is heartbreaking and after finding out just what he has been through you can understand why he is such a manwhore. What happens when these two meet, sparks fly and the chemistry is sizzling so Franny's sister in law decides a makeover is in order and that's when Bear see's Franny for the beautiful sassy woman she is, the woman who only wants everyone to get a HEA.
I loved Bear so much and please don't be put off by the fact this is about an older couple it's still HOT AS HELL !!! The plot will keep you intrigued and off course we do get to see what the rest of the Alpha PI guys are up too. This book really hits home that life doesn't end at 50 you can still get Down and Dirty even if at first your son thinks you have lost your mind. As always family are important to this author and the relationship between Franny and her sister in law was funny and perfect.

An excellent addition to a series I love. Chelle Bliss has been on fire of late and Wicked Impulse is no exception; I loved it from start to finish. It has become my favourite book and you need to read it ASAP.
Bear North has intrigued me from the first time I met him, perhaps because he is a silver fox biker and a friend of City’s (whom I adore).
He knows Fran DeLuca, as the mother of his friend Morgan and has had occasional naughty thoughts about what he would like to do with and to her. When the feisty woman gets involved in his latest case for ALFA PI it becomes a no holds barred dream come true as Fran morphs into a sexy and foxy MILF and one that Bear cannot help but notice.
I love this series, the glimpses of the Gallo family and their friends make it feel as though I am coming home. The obvious camaraderie between Fran and Maria Gallo had me cracking up in parts, I would so love to be friends with these women; they are awesome.
Can Bear keep Fran safe whilst ensuring Morgan doesn’t find out about his relationship with his mother? Or will it all fall apart around him? Will Fran help to mend Bear’s tattered heart?
The chemistry between Bear and Fran was sizzling, I loved the edgy scenes, and I just loved everything about this book. Chelle Bliss is one author I have yet to meet but I would love to spend a day in her head seeing how she manages to come up time and again with stories that captivate me.
Morgan was at times extremely annoying as he tried to run Fran and Bear’s life for them, often forgetting that they were consenting adults, he treated them as children. His distress at times made for an emotional roller-coaster but it was great to see him finally come to terms with Fran and Bear being together and it was obvious to all around them how happy they made each other.
Perhaps it is the fact that both Bear and Fran are in their 50’s but I really related to this book on so many levels. I am totally head over heels in love and lust with Bear and want a Bear of my own!!
There was danger, romance, amazing chemistry, spine tingling hot sex and humour that had me in tears on occasion. This is a sexy, extremely hot and downright dirty book that I could not put down and I cannot wait for the next release from Ms. Bliss.
