Ava
I’m just about to text Rowan back when the door opens, and he’s standing in the entrance. His face is unreadable. He doesn’t enter. He only waits looking like the most gorgeous thing I’ve ever seen in a dark suit and tie. He’s still wearing the glasses he’ll occasionally put on when he’s reading, and I rise out of my chair, closing the laptop before I go to him.
“I’m sorry,”I say, reaching out for his hand.
He takes mine and raises it to his lips before pulling me closer.
“What’s troubling you, Ava?”
I look down at my shoes, awkwardness filling my stomach.
“You didn’t have tocome all the way over here.”
“Why are you having second thoughts about the baby?”
I take a deep breath and sigh, lifting my eyes to his.
“It just seems like everything is in such chaos. What makes us want to bring a child into this mess?”
His dark eyes soften as they hold mine, but he doesn’t answer immediately. I love that he doesn’t pat me on the head and tell me to stop being ridiculous. He takes my fears seriously.
“It’s our royal duty,”he finally says.
Now I’m frowning.
“That’s your only reason?”
“No...”
He touches the side of my cheek with his thumb, and I wait.
“I’d also like to see what happens when we take half of you and mix it with half of me.”
My frown softens a little.
“I have dreamed of our babies.”
I remember my chubby, dark-haired daydreams.
“I expect we’ll have an overly analytical, extremely controlled little leader,” he says,and I sigh and nod. “Or a thief who steals cars and races them away.”
“Rowan!”
I push his arm, ready to storm across the room.

This is the continuation of Rowan and Ava's story and I really wanted this book, I wanted to get to know the King and the Queen Regent and I wanted to dig into their life and relationship and that's exactly what this book is, so I would suggest reading the previous books in the series if you want to get the best out of this one.

I loved seeing the King's dominate side and watching Ava show us her true submissive side as she keeps her King satisfied. This book is steaming hot but it's also a great story with intrigue, plotting and a few lies along the way, it's a real dirty Cinderella story and I loved it. Tia Louise gives us a well written story that will have you hooked from the very first page.
If you loved The Prince & The Player then you are certainly going to enjoy Dirty Thief. Although not totally necessary, I would read the first book prior to reading Dirty Thief.
The chemistry between Rowan and Ava continues to sizzle; throw in a healthy dose of suspense, mystery and danger and you are in for one heck of a roller coaster ride. This book is a little edgier and I will say that Rowan in “command” mode is certainly hard to resist. In fact I wouldn't resist at all!.
Rowan and Ava are deeply in love and will do whatever it takes to keep each other and those they love safe. When Ava's past comes back to haunt her, will they be prepared to do what is necessary?Life in the palace is not always fun and games, there are serious issues when one runs a country and it take adjustments on both sides for Rowan and Ava to navigate their paths.
These two are so right for each other, they click on so many levels that it was a pleasure to read their story. Tia Louise took us on an exciting ride and I was hooked from the first to the last page.
