Kate Sterritt is one of my favourite authors and I love all her books but I believe this is her best work.
This book took over my life it consumed me and I was not going to put it down until I had read the last line, it's one of the most beautifully written books I have read.
This is a story about 2 people growing up together and then a 3rd person enters into their world, it's a love story like no other and just when you think you have it all worked out it turns around and omg what a twist, I didn't see that coming. Emerson, a beautiful girl with a dark childhood meets a boy who will become her soulmate, Mereki a handsome boy who vows to love and protect Emerson through hell or high water, Josh a man who falls in love with a grown up Emerson....
I don't want to give this story away so that's all you are getting from me. This is a love story that will bring out all sorts of feelings, it will tear at your heart but it will also make you smile. If romance is your genre you need to read this book. Wonderful job Kate Sterritt

This story is beautiful, with so many wonderful words that
will either make you sigh or cry!
I am really at a loss for words since finishing the book! I
had no clue about something till almost the very end! Truly heart wrenching but
heartwarming too!
I'm not sure what more to say to describe the myriad of
emotions I experienced whilst reading..... I thought maybe something rather bad
had happened but I never imagined what actually did ! The author has written a
story that will tug at your heart! Emerson
was a girl that had a really great best friend in Meleki. The story shows their
lives in the past The way they were was truly magical then we move forward to
the present and needless to say you may be stunned just as I am! I won't say
anything else as it may spoil things and that's never a good idea!

Author Bio
Kate Sterritt lives in Sydney, Australia with her husband,
three young sons and highly energetic German Shorthaired Pointer puppy.
When she’s not madly juggling the logistics of soccer
trainings, play dates and volunteering at the school, she can be found at her
laptop, writing the types of novels she loves to read. Her characters are
inspired by her own experiences, blended with her imagination and a healthy
dose of wishful thinking.
