Blurb

I am not a victim.

At least that’s what I wanted to believe. What I wanted the world to see. Five years of trying to find the girl I hid from the world.

I wouldn’t let the bullies win. I couldn’t.

What was I supposed to do when he walked into the building? He’d made my high school years a living hell.

But, he doesn’t recognize me.

How do I prove he didn’t break me? Simple, take him home for a one-night stand.

At least it sounded like a good idea at the time.

Rebecca Brooke is a new author to me but she won't be for long, after reading Rock Me, I'm certainly going to be checking her other books out.
This book is an emotional roller coaster, it's happy, it's sad and it's beautifully written.
This is a  story about two people with a past meeting up again only this time they are older and wiser, in high school he was the star on the football team and she was the nerdy music student and she wasn't treated well. Cole has learnt his lesson but will Mari give him a second chance, will she believe he has grown up and feels really bad about the history they share.
This book blew me away, I smiled and I cried and at times I got so angry but this author gives you such a real connection with not only the characters but also with the storyline, it was hard to but the book down. I loved this book and I really hope Rebecca Brooke decides to make it into a series.
This is a must read !!!!
