Stone is book one in the new Cold Fox Trilogy by Max Monroe and on the face of this series is very different from any other by the very talented writing duo, if this book is anything to go by they have yet another hit series on their hands. 

This book is told in both main characters POV and it’s a pretty quick read or it could be I was enjoying so much it just felt that way.  This story was a lot more emotional than any other Max Monroe book and it had characters that are a lot deeper than any of their predecessors but it showed just how diverse this writing duo can be, it seems every word they write turns into yet another 5 Star read.
Levi is the moody, a little bit broken cop who has been ordered to be the liaison officer for a Hollywood movie being shot about the murders that happened in Cold. Ivy is the lead actress and she and the whole team have a job on their hands convening Levi that this film needs to be made and don’t believe everything you read about Hollywood Stars.......
This book has it all, it’s emotional, it has characters that are strong and have depth, its a journey that turns into a love story with just the right mix of angst and off course it has its witty moments because it wouldn’t be a Max Monroe book without some humour. Loved it, couldn’t put it down and can’t wait for book 2.

This story was so different and unique and kid of suspenseful all at the same time. It was also very steamy and you could actually feel the sizzling tension between Levi & Ivy. I really enjoyed it. It had such a sad back story and it made me wonder how the series will end. I really cannot wait for the next books. Hooked me!!
