EXCERPT:
As we stared into each other’s eyes the realization that I was standing almost butt ass naked in front of a resident at my hospital who was more than ten years younger than me hit me. What was I doing? No matter how Samuel’s phone call had angered me, I shouldn’t be here. I moved my arm to cover my bare chest, but Ryan’s hand darted out and caught my wrist before I could.
“Walk to my bedroom,” he said, his voice commanding. “Second door on the right.”
He raised my hand to his lips for a gentle kiss before giving me a firm slap to my ass.
“Walk.”
I’d never felt so wet from a single word in my entire life. I stepped forward and looked over my shoulder to watch my hand slip from Ryan’s grasp. He looked me up and down, from my heels to my hair. He licked his lips and I grinned before continuing down the hall. My legs threatened to shake and I swore even his neighbors could hear the thundering of my heart, but I’d never felt such a sexual thrill so I kept walking till I reached his bedroom: the second door on the right.

What’s starts off as a bit of fun on a dating app hookup turns into a bit of a nightmare for Dr Lauren Decker when she finds out HeartBreaker531 is her new chief resident working with her for month while he decides if this is the job for him......After Lauren’s surgeon ex husband cheated on her with a nurse she vowed never to mix business with pleasure again. Dr Ryan Castle has also been burnt in previous relationships but his attraction to Lauren goes way beyond a fling can he convince her he is worth taking a chance on........This was a great quick read, the characters have depth and the chemistry is sizzling, this book has the perfect mix of romance, love, passion and lots of witty banter all in all a great read.
I loved that the heroine Dr. Lauren Decker is 10 years older than the hero Dr. Ryan Castle. It’s not often that the heroine of the story is older and this story line worked so well and was a pleasure to read.
Both Lauren and Ryan have been badly burned by previous relationships which have soured and neither are looking for a relationship. In fact her ex Samuel is a jerk and one that I disliked intensely.
When a dating app hookup turns out to be Lauren’s new chief resident, life is about to get complicated. Lauren is determined not to become involved with another doctor after her surgeon ex cheated on her with a nurse.
However Ryan is attracted to the sexy cardiac surgeon and sets out to pursue Lauren and turns her life upside down. The attraction between the two of them is scorching but will Lauren be prepared to dive in?
Ms. DePaul’s writing is strong and her characters are easy to relate to. This was a fast pace, quick read which I enjoyed. Bad Boy M.D. proves that when you least expect it, love can and will find you, you just have to open yourself up to the possibilities.
