This was a great read, full of fun, some drama and sizzling scenes and a hero and heroine who I really liked. Full of so many laugh out loud moments, The Right Stud will keep you riveted from start to finish.
Romantic comedy has fast become one of my favourite genres and The Right Stud is a great example.
The writing style of Ilsa Madden-Mills and Tia Louise is seamless and I have no idea where one author finishes and the other begins.
Jax Roland is a gorgeous and oh so hot
home improvement star and he has an offer that Ashton can’t refuse.
I loved the the town, the secondary characters , including Lulu and Mrs C , not to mention a potty mouthed parrot who cracked me up just brought even more to the overall story.
There were times that my heart was in my mouth, Jax has secrets and after what Ash has been through with a cheating ex, she won’t tolerate liars, even lies by omission.
When Jax’s secrets come out, will Ash be able to forgive him? Trust when lost is very hard to get back.
I look forward to reading more from this dynamic writing duo.
The Right Stud is a fun easy to read entertaining story and if you are looking for a book that will leave you smiling like a Cheshire Cat then this is the read for you. It is the perfect mix of romance, passion, humour, witty banter and just a little touch on angst. I fell in love big time with these characters and there is a part in the middle of this book where I could not read for tears streaming down my face from laughter, all I’m going to say it has to do with Skunks, but this book is so. Cub more than the humour it’s also a love story, it’s about someone learning to trust again and it’s about finding out that keeping secrets will do no one any good. The characters have depth and at times they cracked me up and what can I say about a foul mouthed parrot apart from he and his owner were the perfect secondary characters and believe me that parrot felt like a character. Ilsa and Tia are amazing authors in their own right but when they come together they seem to bring out the best in each other. Looking forward to more from this amazing duo.
This was a rather fun, lighthearted and entertaining story centering on Ashton and the house she's been trying to renovate. She sends an email to The Right Stud to help her with it all. Enter Jax! Oh me, oh my.... All I kept thinking about were those renovation shows on TV. This book was so right up my alley. I loved the storyline, it was great and the characters gave funny banter. Add in animals and you have a winner. Quirky animals at that. Too funny!! But Ashton doesn't like liars and when the real truth comes out, needless to say she isn't happy at all and goes a little overboard but really who could blame her. The house she is in, it is very precious to her and nothing will make her give it up. Does Jax redeem himself, is there a happy outcome? Go forth and read it for yourself. Very enjoyable read! |
