“Why do you do that?”
“Do what?”
“You press your fingers on your mouth every time we kiss.”
“Oh, ah…” I stalled, looking over her shoulder. I felt heat prickle my neck.
“Tell me,” she insisted. “I want to know.”
“I like how it feels when you kiss me. I guess I’m sort of sealing you into me. Keeping your taste locked into my mouth.”
She stared at me, blinking and silent.
“Is that weird? It’s weird. I’m sorry.”
I wasn’t prepared when she launched herself at me. The drill flew one way; we hit the wall behind me, a mass of entangled arms and legs, her mouth on mine, hard and passionate. I slid down the wall to the floor, taking her with me. She was ferocious in her intensity, her kisses deep and possessive.
“You say the most erotic words,” she groaned. “Sealing my taste into you?”
“So, not weird?” I moaned as she kissed her way down my neck.
“No, not weird.” She hovered over me, her dark hair falling like a waterfall around us. “You turn me on like no man has ever done, Reid. Ever.” She kissed me again.
I was good with that.
This is a heartwarming 5 Star story about overcoming all odds and finding your worth.
Reid, the man, is sweet, endearing and a bit awkward from the beginning of this book to the end. From the moment he was born he has faced adversity, made mistakes, but has never had someone to even really give him a hug. But instead of allowing these obstacles to bring him down he paid the price for his mistakes and came out on the other side and found the path that would bring him a better life filled with friendship and love. He found friendship with Bentley, Maddox and Aiden, but it was Becca who gave him everything else, especially love and many first that they both could cherish and celebrate.
Reid, the man, is sweet, endearing and a bit awkward from the beginning of this book to the end. From the moment he was born he has faced adversity, made mistakes, but has never had someone to even really give him a hug. But instead of allowing these obstacles to bring him down he paid the price for his mistakes and came out on the other side and found the path that would bring him a better life filled with friendship and love. I fell in love with this book so very much!
Reid has a rather tragic story to tell and it may cause you to shed a tear, I certainly did! What he has with the men of BAM is a real sense of support and family, I would really love to be apart of, too bad they are fictional! There is also some funny moments too! Oh boy, did I laugh!
He has eyed Becca from afar, not being able to speak to her about personal things but about computers, he could go all day!
The raw emotions, the beautiful friendship forming between Reid and Becca is just wonderful but as with most relationships, sometimes obstacles get in the way!
This was the most beautiful story the author has written and with so much heart, it really shines through in her words! The characters are rather funny together in their antics but above everything else a true brotherhood in every sense of the word! The men of BAM and the woman that support them, my heart and soul applauds you! Reid, you definitely have found your "home"!

This was the book I have been waiting for and Reid’s story did not disappoint in fact I want to go on record saying for me this is the best so far out of Melanie Moreland’s Vested Interest Series, Reid is everything I expected and more. I went through every feeling I every thought possible whilst reading this story I wanted to mother him, I wanted to love him and things went through my mind that shouldn’t have. I fell big time for the IT guy that has never really felt worthy of the position and responsibility he holds at BAM.
Reid is the master behind the IT department at BAM but unlike previous books he is not a partner he is a loyal and trusted employee and he spends all of his days and most of his nights holed up in his office working on his trusted computer. Reid may be an employee but if you asked Bentley, Aiden or Maddox they would tell you he is a brother he is family and the men of BAM will always help their family and friends and Reid needs help because he has a crush on a strong sassy employee named Becca. Reid has no experience with women so he does the only thing he knows and that’s mess with her computer so she spends more time in his office trying to fix all these cliches that keep happening. Becca desperately wants to tell Reid she is attracted to him but she is terrified she will scare him off so that’s where the rest of the family at BAM come into play, will Reid and Becca finally admit their feelings to each other.
This book was an emotional roller coaster, I laughed at the banter and It broke my heart when I read how Reid had been treated but every tear I shed was worth it because Reid stole a piece of my heart and this book has to be one of my favourite reads of 2018 and I’m sure it will yours as well. Where will this very talented author take us next I guess we have to wait and see.

Becca is the perfect heroine for the awkward Reid. She is strong, confident and determined; she also has a wicked sense of humour and I loved how she related to Reid and the other characters.

The camaraderie and love that the BAM family have for each other is truly heart warming. I fell more for Sandy than ever before whilst reading Reid, she has been such a steady an loving influence on all of the men and is a wonderful character.
