KISS ME TONIGHT by Maria Luis - Review Blast

I had it all.
The Super Bowl rings.
The hot shot TV gig.

Then I got fired.

Now I’m living in middle-of-nowhere Maine, playing assistant coach to the woman of my nightmares.

Did I mention that she and her son are my new neighbors?

If you talk to the locals, they’ll tell you Aspen Levi is the queen of high school football.
But if you ask me, my new head coach is a pain in my left nut sac.

She’s too blonde.
Too peppy.
And way too sexy for my peace of mind.

Only, one minute we’re fighting, and the next I can’t keep my hands off her. One hot kiss. One forbidden touch. I don’t do love but . . .

What I want, I take, and what I want is Aspen Levi.

Kiss Ne Tonight is book 2 in the Put A Ring On It Series but it can certainly be read as a stand-alone, I know this because I have not read book 1 yet and I still loved every word of this sports romance centred around football and small town living.
Aspen finds herself back in her hometown as a single mum and coach to the local high school football team, it’s a place she never expected to come back to and she is struggling to mix with the residents who feel she betrayed them when she left the small town for what she thought was going to be a better life.  Dominic may be the local football god, he may be a womaniser but when it comes down to it he has a heart of gold but will that be enough to make Aspen want to stay ........
This story has all the feels you expect in a great read, the storyline and the banters flows and is entertaining as well heartbreaking as we get to know Aspen, her son and the residents of London, Maine. Dominic and Aspen need to make the best of the situation fate has put them in can they make it work can they come together as one and get the HEA they both deserve. I loved this couple and I now find myself needing to go back and read book 1 in this series because if this story is anything to go by the rest of this series is going to be fantastic. Loved the plot ,loved the characters, loved the laugh out loud moments as well as the gasping moments that I had my hand over my mouth whilst holding my breath, I loved it all.

Maria Luis is a new author to me. Although this is book 2 in the series I had no problem reading this one as a stand alone. I loved how into football Aspen was, in fact it was this that prompted me to sign up fro read and review this book.
Single mum Aspen Levi has returned to her hometown to take up a job as the high school’s football coach. It’s hard to come home when the majority of people feel she betrayed them when she left.

This was a read with plenty of humour and laugh out loud moments. Ms.Luis wove a story that was realistic and at times heart wrenching.

I really loved Aspen’s character, she seems like someone I could be friends with. Dominic is a man who has been portrayed as an insensitive womaniser, but there is so much more to him than that. His concern and care for children made me smile.

I loved the dynamic between Aspen and her son as she struggled to raise him by herself. I also loved the banter between Aspen and Dominic, not to mention the fireworks.

Dominic and Aspen were well matched and I really wanted them to get their happily ever after. They both have been scarred by their past and yet both are determined to make the most of life.

Maria Luis is the author of sexy contemporary romances, though she may or may not have a few historical romances hiding in the cobwebs of her computer.
When she's not writing about strong men and the sassy women who sweep them off their feet, Maria is a historian who specializes in medieval England and 19th century New Orleans. What do the two eras have in common, you ask? Not much, except for disease, scandalous activities and crime--Maria's favorite topics.
Maria lives in New Orleans with her better half, where she can generally be found hiking with her two dogs, Zeus and Athena, kayaking in Louisiana's inter-coastal waterways, or curled up on the couch with a good book.
