Jennifer L Allen is a new author to me. This was a sweetly romantic story that left me with a smile on my face.
Melanie and Tyler both work for the same publishing company and when they finally meet after eyeing one another off and lamenting missed opportunities they go on a date. She loves 80’s music and he loves the 90’s. Can they overcome their different taste in music or is it destined to ruin their relationship before it even gets a chance to get off the ground?
This was a slow burn book, that was not only sweet but it was humorous too. Their relationship is built on friendship, encouragement and support. Bot Melanie and Tyler have dreams of a bigger and brighter future and the support they offer to one another in achieving their dreams is heart warming.
The epilogue was great and really did the book justice as Melanie and Tyler realized that dreams can and do come true.
Jennifer L. Allen is a new author to me and after reading Simply Irresistible I’m struggling to understand why she hasn’t crossed my path before now and I will certainly be checking out other works by her. This is a fun sweet romantic story that will certainly leave you smiling.
Tyler and Melanie work for the same publishing company just on different floors, they are constantly bumping into each other but it takes a while for a date to be organised. They may have a lot in common but the music they love comes from different eras she loves the 80’s and he loves the 90’s and a lot of this book is humorous text messages trying to prove who’s era is the best.....
This is a romance built in friendship, it’s a fun entertaining read that left me smiling like a Cheshire Cat and feeling all fuzzy inside. A slow burn book about a couple who love and support each other. I really connected with the music in this book and I’m looking forward to reading more from this very talented author. If you want a sweet fun entertaining read then you will want to read this one.
