Claire Kingsley is a new author to me and I thoroughly enjoyed The Mogul & The Muscle.
Where do I start? I fell hard and fast for Jude Ellis, he ticked all the boxes for me and he was totally swoon worthy whilst Cameron Whitbury not only has brains, she is independent, feisty and sassy. Separately these two are amazing characters but when they get together they really rock it.The banter between them is witty and the chemistry off the charts, that is when they are not denying the sparks that blaze between them.
The writing was strong and the characters were likeable and easy to relate too. The secondary characters were entertaining and I loved the dynamic between Cameron and her friends.
Although this was my first book by Ms. Kingsley, it will not be the last.

This is my first read by this author and I have to ask myself why she hasn’t crossed my radar before now and I will certainly be checking her other works as soon as time permits. The Mogul and the Muscle has the perfect mix of love, humour and intrigue so it will appeal to a wide range of romance lovers. What I really adored about this book was that Cameron Whitbury the heroine is a strong, independent, sassy businesswoman don’t get me wrong I still fell big time for Jude Ellis the strong silent type hero but for me it was a breath of fresh air having the heroine as such a strong character. When Jude is hired to protect Cameron neither expected anything more than a boss/bodyguard relationship but as time goes on and these two spend a lot of time together it turns into so much more. Oh did I mention I loved Cameron’s crazy friends.....
Sizzling chemistry and witty banter all help make this a great read. Looking forward to future books from this new to me author.

The Mogul and the Muscle is the first book by Claire Kingsley that I have read and I am now a fan! I enjoyed her writing style, her characters were fun to read and the storyline was perfect mix between humor and intrigue!
It was a nice twist to have the strong, sexy female being the smart, savvy business woman for a change and Cameron is definitely all that and more. Jude is that strong somewhat silent type, not really sure what he wants to do now that he is trying to retire. Little did he know that his job protecting Cameron would finally be his last. What started out as a boss/bodyguard relationship turned out to be so much more for each of them.I also loved all of Cameron’s crazy friends. They definitely added to the fun part of this story and I hope that we get more of them in future books!
