What a great start to the new Charlotte’s Cove Series and if small town romance floats your boat Beauty and the Badge should be a must read. Tyler and Ashley’s story ticked all my boxes and I’m sure it will tick yours as well because it’s small town romance at its best, an adorable couple with plenty of witty banter and sizzling chemistry make this a great read.
Ashley has decided to leave big city life behind and move to the small town she spent many happy summers in and she can’t believe her luck when she is offered a job at Charlotte’s Cove police department and she really can’t believe her eyes when she meets her extremely hot boss, Chief of Police, Tyler Jameson. Could he feel the same way ......
I loved this couple, she is sassy, strong and a woman I would love as a friend and he is compassionate, hot and caring which makes them a perfect match. This romance has the perfect mix of love, passion, humour with a few twists and turns to keep you on the edge of your seat. This book has really set the scene for what looks like a series I’m not going to be able to get enough off because I think every character I’ve meet so far has their own story to tell. I’m looking forward to more from the residents of the small town of Charlotte’s Cove.

Ella Fox is a new author to me and why that is, I have absolutely no idea. From the first chapter I was invested in Ashley Colton’s story and once she moved to Charlotte’s Cove my interest was heightened.
Returning to live in her grandparents seaside cottage, Ashley wastes no time in getting back into the community who she came to love throughout her childhood visits. When a friend helps her get a job in the local police department, she immediately fits right in. The only issue she can see is that she is immensely attracted to her boss, Chief of Police, Tyler Jameson.
I really loved Tyler, he is such an alpha , kind, compassionate and caring and you cannot help but fall under his spell. Ashley was strong, sassy and a wonderful woman who I could easily see as a friend.
There was romance, passion, a little drama but through it all there was a story of friendship and love that captured my imagination, drew me in and kept me riveted.
I love small town romance and Beauty & The Badge ticked the boxes for me. The characters were extremely easy to relate too and the secondary characters were just as entertaining. I cannot wait to read more in this series.
