New York Times bestselling author Katy Regnery returns with the third book in her Odds-Are-Good series!
Boston businesswoman, Faye Findley, has devoted the last decade of her life to work, leaving no time for romance. Tired of being a 30-year-old virgin, Faye answers an ad in The Odds Are Good magazine, hoping to turn over her v-card to a sexy Alaskan she’ll never see again.
Successful distillery owner, Trevor Starling, was left betrayed and broken-hearted when his brother and fiancée had sex the night before Trevor’s wedding. Anticipating a lonely New Year’s celebration, he places an ad in The Odds Are Good for a no-strings attached weekend of hot sex.
Though mistaken identity threatens to derail everything, the chemistry between Faye and Trevor turns out to be stronger than either could have imagined. And what started out as a one-and-done mission becomes much more complicated.

Having read several books from Katy Regnery, I couldn’t wait to read this one. This was one of those books that grabbed me from the start and never let me go; what a terrific read A Fairbanks Affair was. I love any story that is centred on Christmas and this story will get you in the mood for the festive season.
I fell hard and fast for Trevor, there was just something about him that ticked all the boxes for me and then some. My heart went out to both Trevor and Faye with all they have been through and I was cheering for these two to get together and get the happily ever after they both so richly deserve.
Having been badly burned recently, Trevor has no intention of every letting his heart become involved again, in fact all he wants is a weekend of fun with no strings attached. When Faye answers his personal add she has no idea how her life is about to change.
The chemistry between Trevor and Fayer was instant smoking hot and the will they, won’t they, had me on the edge of my seat. I loved the characters, both separately and especially together.
As I have come to expect from a book by Katy Regnery, the writing was outstanding, the banter was fun and the characters were easy to relate too and realistic. This was a beautifully written, heartwarming story and all in all this made for a great read that I highly recommend.
A Fairbanks Affair is the third book in Katy Regnery’s Odds-Are-Good series and this is my favorite one yet!
I absolutely love a good holiday romance and this story is all that and more.
A personal ad set everything into motion but an coincidental in person meeting was the real start of their relationship.
Trevor was broken hearted and looking for someone to spend New Years with and when Faye answered his ad under the name Faith he was drawn immediately to her photo and the note she wrote in response to his ad. Faye has kept a secret for a while. She has never been with a man and this opportunity combined with a business trip was something she couldn’t pass up. When ‘T’ meets Faye at the bar neither knows each other’s true identity but they had an immediate connection and chemistry and those were perks neither could pass up.
This was a fun story to read and I loved Faye and Trevor together right from the beginning and thoroughly enjoyed their journey to a happily ever after!
