This book ticked all my boxes , I loved the characters and I loved the witty banter, I smiled, I sighed and I found myself wishing and hoping this couple would get the HEA they so deserved. This book is the perfect mix of love, passion, angst and humour and it will certainly keep you on the edge of your seat as this couple struggle to overcome all the hurdles life seems intent on putting in their way. This is a very special story that I highly recommend.

Where do I even begin to describe my emotions whilst reading Troy’s book!
I have to first off say that he is the most amazing man. He is caring, very devoted to those he holds dear but he is also trying to do his absolute best to get by in life! The struggles are real people!
My heart was thrown so often. I felt like the relationship between Clarissa and Troy was on difficult footing and I wondered if they would have a HEA!
I admired the way Clarissa stood up for herself but she really had a hard time letting Troy in! I also loved the way he doted on Dante and the things that came out of Dantes mouth were pure gold!
I really loved how this book showed real life struggles alot of relationships go through and sometimes people need to make a choice as to who is most important to them and act accordingly!
The banter was great, the heartfelt moments were beautiful and I especially loved how it ended! The storyline hooked me from start to finish!! So looking forward to reading more from this author!

I am not sure I can’t write a review that will do justice to this fantastic book that I just finished reading! Kate Stewart is a favorite author of mine and boy did she deliver on this one!

Troy May have made a huge mistake when he was a teenager but I love his strength and perseverance as he tried to prove that he could be a better person and take responsibility for his past mistakes. He has stayed in the background for years watching Clarissa and Dante from a distance until the time seemed right to step into their lives.
Clarissa has learned to make it as a single mom. It was something she never expected to have to do but she wouldn’t change a thing because a one night stand has given her a wonderful son. She has worked hard but has struggled to make ends meet at times. She has also been keeping her sons father a secret and she may pay a big price for keeping him away.
Now, Troy has a chance to be a male figure in Dante’s life and he is falling hard for him and for his mom. He and Clarissa had chemistry years ago and it seems they are building something meaningful now which means so much more than the one night of passion they had years earlier.
