Nancy Warren is a new author to me and I have no idea why that is.  I loved this book from start to finish. It’s a cozy mystery and one that I found entertaining. This was a a book filled with secrets, miss communication and enough clues to satisfy my detective spirit. The intrigue and suspense kept me on the edge of my seat as I read this story about Poppy Wilkinson and her friends.

Being a contestant on the show, Poppy hopes to be able to investigate and find clues at Broomewode Hall to the secrets of her past. Being adopted, she yearns to learn more and believes that the opportunity has been put in front of her for a reason.

There are certainly some twists, turns and surprises in The Great Witches Baking Show as Poppy and her new friends  investigates the murder of a fellow contestant, whilst searching for clues about her family.   
This book was funny, sweet and had a good amount of mystery and suspense which kept me invested throughout.  I cannot wait to read the next book in this series.
