Carmen Falcone is a new author to me and after reading Bad Intentions I’m left wondering why she hasn’t crossed my radar before now because I loved everything about this quick read with a great plot and wonderful characters.
Nikki Brady’s life is about her twins, her grandmother and the job she loves at the Great Escape Retirement Community. Nikki always does the right thing so when her friends dare her to buy a complete stranger a drink it really tests her but determined to prove to her friends she can do this she walks up to Cole Myler and asks him to make out they are flirting and enjoying themselves for her friends sake. Both Nikki and Cole are surprised at how much they enjoy the flirty moments they shared but when Cole walks into Great Escape as the new man on the board Nikki finds herself fighting for not only her job and the residents she is also fighting her feelings......
This is a fun, flirty entertaining read with characters you can easily connect with, it’s hot and steamy, it’s got some great banter and it’s about older women finding love again. Looking forward to book 2 in the series and reading more from this very talented author.

After all the divorced mother of twin boys deserves some fun in her life. Cole Myler is the lucky man and Nikki is shocked to realize how much fun she has with him and how she enjoyed their flirting.
When Cole and Nikki find themselves on opposite sides of the fence at the nursing home where Nikki works, both are determined to fight the attraction that sizzles between them. Nikki is not afraid to stand up for what she believes in.
I loved the boys, David and Henry, as well as Nikki’s grandmother who was a fabulous character.
This was a well written story with characters who you cannot help but fall for as they were easy to relate too. developed; it was a steamy, romantic story with plenty of heart and soul. This was a cracking way to start a new series and I cannot wait to read more from Carmen Falcone.
