If you are looking for a spicy fun read then The What If Guy is the book for you. This was a great addition to Ms.Blakely’s latest series and was an entertaining read that had me riveted from the first to the last chapter.

As I have come to expect from Ms. Blakely, the story was funny with characters you cannot help but fall for and whose story  I was fully invested in. Add in that our hero Logan is a single dad and I was so happy. The chemistry between Logan and  Bryn is instant, in fact as soon as their eyes meet across a vintage lunch box, the sparks fly.

The addition of their cats Queen LaTofu and Bruce respectively added an additional layer and if you listen to the audio it was even better than reading their narratives.  I laughed so much with the humour and banter,  these characters are just so fabulous that you want to be their friends.   I really loved Bryn, what a feisty, sassy, independent woman she is, whilst Logan is  totally swoon worthy. Individually these characters were awesome but together they take the book to another level.
  
This book had me laughing and smiling throughout and is one I thoroughly enjoyed.  The What If Guy is a fun romantic comedy, it’s  a story of finding love when you least expect it,  of taking a leap of faith and finding your soul mate.  



Where to start and what to say that hasn’t already been said.....
If you are looking for a fun, entertaining read with adorable characters look no further than The What If Guy ( the Guys Who Got Away #2). I was captivated from the first page and there was no putting down until I had read the final line and even then I wanted more from Logan and Bryn and their cats Queen LaTofu and Bruce and yes these cats do get a couple of chapters to themselves.
Ms Blakely is one of my go to authors and as soon as I read the blurb for this book I was excited because let’s be honest she is the queen of romantic comedy and once you add in the single dad angle you are sure to have the perfect read. In these uncertain times I’m sure we are all looking to escape into our books and The What If Guy is the ideal book to help you leave the world behind, the characters are adorable, the banter is witty and funny and the chemistry is sizzling hot. This series is one I will certainly read and re-read because this author’s writing has drawn me in and made me feel like I’m part of this group of friends who share so much love and humour. I’m so excited for the next book in this series and it can’t come soon enough. This is a book about friendship, Soulmates, love and taking a leap of fate when you least expect to.
