New Release: HARD FALL by Sara Ney

Release Date: August 18

"Hard Fall"
That's what my mom is always saying: "The bigger you are, the harder you fall." She's talking about love—I've never been in it myself, but that doesn't stop me from secretly matchmaking for my friends. Who would suspect me, a world class athlete, of meddling in other people's love lives? I love Love, especially when it’s not me who’s doing the falling…

"No Thanks."

That's what Hollis Westbrooke said when I asked her on a date. Well, propositioned her, actually—but it was all a big joke; one she doesn't think is funny. My stomach is in knots since I might actually like this girl so the joke is on me. Hollis’s father is my boss—and she doesn't date players.

The bigger they are, the harder they fall—especially when biggest player is me.

Hard Fall is the quintessential romantic comedy story where the characters just made me laugh so much and the banter was outstanding!
I started reading and honestly didn’t want the book to end EVER!
Trace “Buzz” Wallace endeared himself in such a big way. He is charming, outrageously funny and some of the things he says is comedic gold. When he meets Hollis at his place of work, needless to say the bond these two form is nothing short of funny. Its easy to see how easy they get along, despite some of the outlandish comments Buzz makes. But with each of them being brought up so differently and the challenges in life that they both face, can Hollis see how Trace is trying to get her to really see him for who he really is and not the person he is perceived to be?
Hands down one of my absolute favourite reads of 2020! I need so much more of this series. There is nothing like a good old romantic comedy to perk you up in your feelings!
Absolute brilliance!

Book 2 in the Trophy Boyfriends Series and this story was just as entertaining as the first. Hard Fall is Hollis Westbrooke and Trace Wallace’s story and what a witty tale they have to tell.
Hollis comes from the world of baseball, her father is GM of the Chicago Steam and both her siblings work for team but she has always done her own thing and danced to her own tune. Hollis wants nothing to do with baseball , she works for a small publishing house and since a disastrous few weeks spent with one of the players she wants nothing to do with any of the members of the team....
Trace is the total opposite to any man she has ever met, he is funny, witty and full of tricks to get her on a date but she has made a promise to herself, no more players, so can he break down the walls Hollis has erected around herself. It might just take this couple being totally open and showing their vulnerability for a chance at a future together......
I loved everything about this book, I was captivated from the first page and there was no putting down until I had read the final line, I laughed out loud and I smiled a lot throughout this witty entertaining read. I loved Trace and Hollis, I loved all the secondary characters and I’m excited for book 3 Tripp’s story so I guess all that’s left for me to say is please one click this little gem. Another great read read from the very talented Ms Ney.
