Didn’t expect You is a really beautiful easy to read romance. The hero in this story, Nate, is the quintessential knight in shining armour. He is caring and thoughtful in that way that will cause you to swoon.
Nyx Brassard is one tough woman. She loves her family and will do anything for them, to a point. She does however, get caught up in her head alot. Needless to say the path these two characters go on is eye opening and you can definitely see a budding friendship happening.
Family and work drama combined make Nyx think differently on how she wants to live her life especially now.
I thoroughly enjoyed the storyline, characters and the direction everything went. It was a wonderful book to get lost in. Can’t wait to see what the author writes next!
