This story had me laughing out loud at some of the fun, flirty text messages and witty banter between the characters. It also had a serious side with a couple of heartbreaking moments but in the end love won!
Miller is so much more that the most eligible bachelor that his image portrays. He is actually the guy every woman would love to have as their own! He is persistent in his pursuit of Layla (not in a creepy way). He finds her smart and intriguing, a bit stubborn and everything he wants. He just has to convince her that his intentions are honorable. He wants only one chance, only one date and only one marriage and he wants it all with her.
Only one Chance is Layla and Miller’s book and we are sent on a bit of a ride. Miller definitely has his work cut out for him in regards to Layla but he has been chasing her for years to no avail. He seems to be in for the long haul though as he vies for her attention.
Hes nothing if not persistent in his efforts. However, as a hockey player, can he tame his flirtatious manner with the fans? Will Layla give in eventually if he wears her down?
What happens when they take a chance! Will there be fireworks?
Ugh I swear I kept wondering will they, wont they? Drama, steamy moments and witty banter made this an enjoyable read. Layla’s Grandma is an absolute hoot too, she added a certain hilarity to the book and honestly was such good value!!
