The Boyfriend Effect
By Kendall Ryan
Release Day: October 13, 2020
About
the Book
I’m not boyfriend material.
If a trail of broken hearts, and a
piss-poor record of failed relationships have taught me anything, it’s this.
My buddies are happy to give me shit
about my latest breakup from here to next Sunday. Thanks, but I’d rather have a
root canal.
And a vasectomy.
At the same time.
But my relief comes in an unlikely
package—the gorgeous and feisty Maren. She just so happens to be my friend's sister,
so that’s not awkward at all.
But I’m a man on a mission, and
Maren is down to teach me all the ways I’ve been failing as a boyfriend.
Apparently, there are many. And it’s all very informative—until I start to
catch feels.
Now it’s not just my reputation on
the line, but my heart too.

From the first page I was laughing loudly I knew this book would be perfect..
Such wonderful characters.
The connection between Hayes and Maren was more than friends but it's not always easy to go the one step further if she is your best friends sister.. awkward situations? Do you hide your feelings?
Fantastic solid characters that I couldn't get enough of.
Hayes grandmother is perfect and her helpfulness is endearing..and her friendship with Don was heart-warming..
Hayes protectiveness of his grandmother is awesome and I can imagine it happening'
Conversations between Hayes and Don was hilarious… I could see it happening !
This book made me feel so very happy, such a feel good book.
Wonderful chemistry, superbly written, I didn't want it to end..
I finished this book with a huge grin with feelings of great happiness.
Don’t forget the amazing banter!
Hayes and Marin have been walking a fine line between friends and wanting more, but neither of them realizes that the other is hoping for more than just friendship. Marin is Hayes’ best friends younger sister and has been off limits, but because they have known each other for so long they have a comfortable friendship and undeniable chemistry and once they step over that line all bets are off as the sparks fly!
This book has it in spades. I tell you Maren is this caring woman with an absolute heart of gold. When her work is having financial difficulties, her brothers best friend Hayes steps up to the plate with ideas to help. Lets just say Hayes and Maren are fire. They have such sizzling chemistry and their banter is amazing. I just loved the ease of friendship and especially Hayes’s grandma, shes wonderful.
I think Hayes could charm anyone, hes just that type of man but with his past relationships something seems to always go wrong, what is it about Maren that makes everything feel right?
Hes conflicted but in his heart of hearts he has to know what is right. Can these two become more especially when someone doesn’t know and might not approve. Only one way to find out. Go grab your copy to find out!
So much to love about this book!
