The Strike Out is this slow burn romance with some really touching moments. Holt Green may be a baseball player, he goes after what he wants and is really quite persistent.
Harmony has thought baseball players were just that....players...however something about Holt breaks her down.
This book was incredibly heartwarming but also brought alot of emotions to the surface. I admired the way Harmony was. The way she was trying to be independent and her sassy streak was quite entertaining. She certainly gave Holt a run for his money.
Holt is charming, very quick witted and has no issue going the extra mile for Harmony. He is very protective and made me fall in love with him., especially the way he cares for those close to him. He’s everything you could want in a fictional boyfriend!
As with any relationship there are certain things that happen, struggles that question things and we are sent on a journey of growth for both of them.
I really really loved this beautiful story with characters that touch your heart. It was well written and an amazing addition to the series. Ms Quinn has exceeded herself in bringing us Holt’s story.
