Excerpt:

“Anyway, Jex Ivers, this is Chief Elijah Moore. He’s the law ‘round these here parts,” Lena announced with a strange cowboy accent that caused Eli to look at her twice before he rolled his eyes.

The cop studied the young man to see no reaction at all after he was introduced, which brought a feeling of relief because someone guilty of misdeeds usually became jumpy around cops of any kind. “Nice to meet you, Mr. Ivers,” Eli greeted, extending his hand. The guy didn’t return the gesture.

“How do you know?” the young man replied.

This is such an intriguing m/m story with such marvellous characters I couldn’t put this book down.

A wonderful story line that kept my interest 100%.

The Wickersham Inn with the proprietress Hilda Wickersham is where many strange and beautiful things happen..

Jex Ivers & Elijah Moore have completely different stories but they both needed a different path, with a huge amount of trust they found they could walk the same path, but with difficulty.
Their protection of each other added with their strength to be together is wonderful.

This is a book full of suspense and mystery with Hilda Wickersham trusting Jex which then changed his life.

The connection between Jex and Elijah was instant, to see how their trust grew was wonderful to watch….

A wonderful book with such incredible complex characters it was hard to put down.

Many twists and turns that kept me riveted, all in all this is a beautiful book written extremely well a great 4.5 star read.
