Warner and teammate Ford were best friends in high school, since being traded, the animosity is thick and Warner is conflicted. Warner comes face to face with Imogen and what eventuates between these two is heartwarming but also rather heart wrenching as well.
I just loved the support Warner has from his new teammates and their ever teasing banter is on point. Warner is this private, quiet man who really has got a heart of gold.
I kept thinking about what happened with them in high school and when truths come to the surface, I really genuinely wanted everyone to be happy but also give them a big hug. This series is absolutely amazing and I am so chomping at the bit for more stories to come.
