If ever there is a book to bring out many emotions, this one will do it in spades.
The Surrogate is an incredible journey of a family after loss.
It’s amazing to read how a parent’s request to bring new life into the world also brings about a new beginning of love, family and feelings for all involved.
If you read The Aristocrat, then you will know this book is about Sig and haven’t we been anxiously awaiting for his story? I know I have been and it will send you on a bumpy journey, something I didn’t think could be inherently possible, considering who he is.
I feel the author has written a truly amazing journey of one woman’s heart of gold, in this case Abby, to give a family what their hearts have needed.
I laughed, I felt and loved how Abby and Sig eventually got along. This is a book not to be missed. So much heart went into this story, of that I have no doubt! Id give it all the stars if I could!
The Surrogate by Penelope Ward took my breath away it’s absolutely perfection.
Such a wonderful and beautiful story about Abby and Sigmund.
Abby, who has a heart of gold finds complete happiness where she didn’t imagine.
Sig, got to know himself with Abby’s help which was beautiful to watch finding who he really was.
Their banter is heartwarming, this book is worth much more than 5 stars! I can’t praise this book enough! Both melted my heart.
I applaud Penelope Ward for being able to write a first class book like this.
I laughed and cried as I devoured this amazing book. Wonderful characters…
