Excerpt

I’ve always had an inkling that Nate has wanted more from me, and it’s become more and more apparent lately, but me and Nate? That can never happen.

Nate’s Godiva chocolate and I’m just regular old Hershey. Nate’s Armani and I’m Walmart brand on a good day. He’s pure class and I’m just white trash. I’ll never let myself dull his shine. And now that we’re adults, Nate’s on one side of the law and I’m on the other. Too many things stand between me and the man of my dreams.

I try to make an effort to take shallow breaths so I don’t draw in too much of his manly scent, but it’s no damn use. His smell assaults my senses, making me feel loopy and lightheaded. My insides warm, and the whole thing pisses me off. What did he do today? Roll around in oranges and manliness before he picked me up? He smells ridiculous.

“Crack a damn window, Nate. It’s stifling in here,” I snap out.

Nate shoots a panty-melting smile my way like he knows what his smell does to me before saying, “Till, show some respect to the uniform. It’s Officer Trent.” His lips twitch in a barely there smile.

His bicep flexes as he grips the steering wheel to make a left turn, and I blush, thinking of all the ways I want to respect the hell out of that uniform. You know? With me under him. Me over him. Me on my knees in front of him. I smile. If he only knew how much I respected that uniform.

God, get your shit together, Tillie. Stop thinking about the hot cop you’re in love with and figure out how to get the hell out of this car.

I cannot let Nate take me down to the station. It’s unfortunate, this whole bounced-check situation. It really is, but it truly was unavoidable. I think of my good-for-nothing mother and roll my eyes. I’ve got to figure out another way to keep paying her debts off, because cleaning apartments at the retirement home isn’t cutting it. I’m not making enough money to feed myself and support my mother’s bad habits. But I refuse to let her contact Millie and upset her. I’ll pay my mother’s gambling debts forever if it means Millie can live free and clear of our mom.

I look to my right out the car window and notice Hannah, Millie’s best friend, driving her old, blue Ford Escort next to us. We’re coming up on a light, so I scoot closer to Nate across the bench seat of his cruiser until I’m pressed against his side, putting my plan into action. But my stupid pulse still kicks up a notch at our proximity, my body betraying me in the worst possible way.

His head turns to mine and our lips are a mere breath apart.

“What are you doing, Till?” he asks, his eyes genuine, and I almost feel bad for what I’m about to do.

Running my hand up from his knee to his thigh, I lean closer to him until our noses brush. “What do you want me to do, Officer Trent?” I breathe across his lips as my hand ghosts across the zipper of his blue trousers.

We stop at the light, and Nate closes his eyes and leans his head back against the headrest on a groan. I ignore the wetness that floods my panties and my desire to really grip his cock and give it a good stroke.

“Another time,” I whisper before quickly sliding back across the bench seat and throwing my door open. I don’t even slam it behind me as I run across the lane, my arms flailing, sweating like a whore in church.

What a great start to my day, this novella is everything you need to feel so darn good.
Laughed so much still have a huge grin across my face...
his was Tillie's mess, but her knight of shinning Armour also known as the local police officer came to her aid in more ways than one!
Nathan Trent is just what Tillie needs and Nate knows this, has always known …

Their shenanigans together in the bedroom are hilarious, I haven't laughed this much for a long time … Tillie is so sassy , well she thinks she is until Nate looks then speaks ..
Love that man , he is what Tillie needs and he knows it..
This is such a great read with much passion and so funny, will easily recommend this five star read
Thanks for writing this great novella girls, I loved every word written.

Excerpt
“Stay still, Tillie. I’m sick and tired of chasing your crazy ass around town,” I snarl out to the insane female I have pressed up against the wall. A perfectly round ass is wiggling all too enticingly against my already hardening cock, and I let out an exasperated sigh. Stupid dick. Clearly, it doesn't know what’s good for us. Peppermint and some kind of floral soap assail my senses. I almost back away so I can take a harder look at this blonde bombshell, but I refuse to be fooled again. I’ve been hunting this woman down for weeks, and every time I’ve managed to catch up with her, she has somehow managed to give me the slip. Not again. She missed her court date, and it’s my job to bring her in. I have something to prove, being the new guy on the block. I’ve only been on the job for two weeks, and I’ve spent most of it chasing this criminally deranged woman. True, her crimes consist mostly of bounced checks and small thefts, but the way she has managed to evade me these past two weeks only proves one thing—she’s a damn criminal mastermind. “I’m not Tillie, you big oaf. Let me go. Now!” the crazy lady says while trying to turn her body toward me. I press her harder into the wall with my body and groan. Fuck, she feels too good. She’s trying to kill me. I’ve been stabbed, beaten, and shot at plenty in my six years as a bounty hunter, but I’ve never been more convinced that someone was trying to kill me than at this moment. And she is using that smoking-hot body as the weapon. Fuck my life. Funnily enough, I’ve never once felt this pull toward Tillie while I’ve been tracking her. But, now that I am up close and personal, I cannot help but want her. Everything about her is calling to me. Her voice, her smell—this woman is fucking intoxicating. “Cut the bullshit, darlin’. I’ve been watching you for weeks now and you know it. I watched you walk in this door not ten minutes ago. I’m taking you in, collecting my money, and getting a good night's sleep tonight.” I’m so over this shit. “God dammit, let me go. I am not Tillie.” She’s talking to the wall, but I’m mostly paying attention. “I’m Millie, and you are ruining my gig. My fans are expecting me up on stage any minute,” she says. I take a look around this dive of a bar that smells like bacon and stale beer, trying to hold my smirk back. Grabbing the handcuffs around Tillie’s wrists, I spin her around to face me. “Babe, karaoke is not a gig, and if you think it is, then we got bigger problems than a few bounced checks and some petty theft charges,” I say, taking in her curvy body, starting at the tips of her pink-painted toes. I want to pull those gorgeous toes out of the high-heeled sandals she’s wearing and take a nibble, but I know that, the moment she thinks I’m distracted, she’ll take off on me again. My eyes make their way up smooth, tanned legs until I hit the hem of her pale-blue dress with white polka dots right above her knees. And damn, that dress perfectly hugs every curve of her body. My hand almost involuntary makes its way up to the long strand of pearls dangling around her neck. I want to pull her closer with them so I can smell her again or maybe run my tongue over her plump, pink-stained lips. Big, angry, bright-blue eyes snap me out of my lust-fueled fog. Fuck. This girl is fucking gorgeous, and I immediately know I won’t be taking her in right away. “You’re new around here, aren't you?” she snaps at me, the ice in her blue gaze freezing me. The corners of my mouth tip up in a barely there smile. God, I love a sassy woman.

Need to escape the isolation of Covid 19!,  this erotic saucy novella will fill that gap.
I fell into this novella from the first page.
Jake is a bounty hunter who is after Tillie Coletrain, unbeknownst to him Tillie is one of twins!
Millie is the other twin who Jake mistakes as his capture !
I laughed so much at Millie's snarkiness and down right honest silly ways
Such a fun read I was laughing all throughout ..
Jake and Millie's chemistry is off the charts and their humor is delightful.
These twins Millie and Tillie are hilarious one is the good girl the other, seemingly Tillie always makes the wrong choices in life.
A great read, made me laugh, had a silly grin all the time.
This is the first novella of The Coletrain Twins next is all about Tillie and I honestly cannot wait..

There was something about that first score, and not just on the football field.

The First Score, an all-new, best friend’s brother romance from Amie Knight is available now!

Excerpt

“Thanks so much for taking her home, Hazel.” Ollie nudged me to get my attention and I turned to look at him, not having much choice in the matter now. I couldn’t be rude. It was a mistake. The green of his eyes was deeper today, less brown. I knew it was the jersey. It was always that way. A bead of sweat slid down the side of his face and he ran a hand through his hair like he always did. I knew it was a habit of his, just like I knew so many other things about him. “You owe me.” I tried lightening the mood like I had with Scarlett. I nudged his shoulder but only came into contact with a pad. Dragging his bottom lip into his mouth, he raked his teeth over the fullness and his eyes heated. He leaned his face close to mine. “You name it and it’s yours, brat.” My face flamed and my mouth watered. Lord, he was a terrible flirt and by terrible I meant amazing. I swallowed the saliva pooling in my mouth and stepped back. “Cut it out, Olls. Quit giving her a hard time. She came all this way so your ass would have a way home tonight.” Scarlett attempted to save me. He eyed me. “Oh, I haven’t even started giving her a hard time yet,” he said before walking backward down the stadium steps, hot eyes still on me. I was thanking whatever gods were listening that he was walking backward. Please, God. Spare me that ass. I couldn’t handle it after his damn lip trick. “You’re shameless, Oliver Knox,” Scarlett called down to him. She wasn’t wrong. Oliver flirted with all the women. I never could tell if he had a preference for a certain kind of girl. If it walked and had tits and a vagina, he flirted. “Bye, ladies,” Oliver said loudly and jangled Scarlett’s keys over his head before doing the most awful thing in the world to me—he spun around and gave me his ass. And God, was it a marvelous ass. Immediately my eyes ate it up. Was there anything better than a hot ass in some football pants? It was round and firm and high and I bet I could have bounced fifty quarters off of it. But I didn’t have any change. Damn. That was just my luck. I was being mesmerized by the twin all white globes when they stopped just barely and my eyes diverted up to see Oliver looking over his shoulder and smiling. Damn him. He gave me a slow wink before continuing down the steps at a trot. The tease. The bastard. He knew how good-looking he was. It didn’t matter a bit that he was my best friend’s brother or that he was a year and a half younger than me. Oliver Winston Knox was fine on a regular day, but in a football uniform he was the stuff dreams were made of. My dreams to be exact.

This is a great feel good, slow burn romance and I’m sure like me Hazel Jones and Oliver (Winnie) Knox’s journey will have you swooning and sighing. This book has all the feels you want and expect in a entertaining read, the characters are adorable, the storyline is captivating and it’s believable.
Winnie and Hazel have been friends since childhood and truth be told he has had feelings for her since she arrived on his doorstep to play with his older sister and that means she should be off bounds because as his sisters best friend it means there’s a line that shouldn’t be crossed.....
Winnie was happy to wait for the girl that was it for him but would Hazel ever be ready to except his feelings and what does he need to do to show her how much he cares.....
This book can be read and enjoyed as a stand-alone but that being said if you have read The Red Zone you will love how the stories are interwoven. I loved this beautiful written romance and I’m looking forward to more from this very talented author.

TRZ - BT banner.jpg

The Red Zone, an all-new sexy, second chance romance from Amie Knight, is available now!

The Red Zone FOR WEB
They say the red zone is the hardest place to score.
But for me, those last twenty yards were my sweet spot.
They didn't call me Lukas "Last Minute Lucy" Callihan for nothing.
I was at the top of my game...until life sacked me harder than any linebacker ever could.
Losing my mom was devastating and left me as the sole person responsible for my little sister.
Taking care of Ella and juggling my career was like playing the hardest game of my life.
My only saving grace was Scarlett Knox, Ella's sexy, red-headed, no-nonsense teacher.
She loved Ella. She hated me.
She thought I sucked at this parenting thing, and she wasn’t wrong.
But whenever she was around I got the same earth-shattering, heart-stopping feeling I did when I was only twenty yards from the goal line.
She made me feel like I was back in the red zone, a place I’d never fumbled.
Until now.

Excerpt:

“I’m going to kiss you.” My body locked tight. Oh, no, he couldn’t do that. If he kissed me I’d think about it at least the next ten years and that would be awful. I still obsessed over the day he’d kissed me when he’d told me goodbye. I couldn’t let him do that to me again. “That’s a terrible idea,” I whispered, his lips a breath from mine. Slowly his eyes opened and they were suddenly boring into mine. “Why, Scarlett?” I couldn’t tell him the truth. That his kiss had ruined my teenage heart. That I’d never moved on. That no other kiss had ever compared. That I still thought about that kiss and what I had meant to him. I couldn’t tell him any of that because it sounded pathetic and desperate even to my own ears. So I lied. I lied my face off. “It’s just not appropriate. I’m Ella’s teacher and you’re her guardian.” His smile said it all, but it didn’t have to because his mouth wasn’t far behind. “That’s bullshit. None of that has anything to do with me putting my lips on yours.” He studied my face like he did when we were in school together. Like he was trying to figure me out. I prayed he wouldn’t. And while his eyes pillaged my very soul, his knee slowly wedged itself between my thighs, causing my skirt to rise. I turned my head to the classroom door, terrified someone would walk through even though I knew it was after hours and we were alone. His hands left my jaw and traveled down my neck, past my shoulders and the outer swell of my breasts to settle on my hips where he squeezed. “What are you so afraid of, baby?” He called me baby and he was doing it again. That thing where he made me dizzy and stupid. He was making me forget why this was a bad idea. Why I shouldn’t want this. Because he felt so, so good against me. His warm palms left my hips and slid down over my ass and to the bottom of my skirt where he clutched the hem in his fists, slowly sliding it up more. I should have said stop. Anything, but the farther he pushed up my skirt, the more his knee moved in and up until it sat right there against me. Right where I needed it. A small squeak escaped my lips and one corner of his mouth lifted in a slow smile. “God, you’re gorgeous.” His nose brushed the side of mine and the harsh stubble on his jaw scraped my skin exquisitely. His massive hands moved under my skirt and right to the globes of my bottom, squeezing, before one moved up and snapped the top of my panties. “And you have a thong on. You’re trying to kill me, Red.” He lowered his head more, zeroed in on my lips, and even though I was a mess of hormones and turned on more than I’d ever been in my life, I couldn’t give it to him. I couldn’t give him my kiss again. I turned my head in the nick of time and his mouth landed on my jaw. “You’re not going to give me your mouth, huh?” he mumbled against my cheek before pressing open mouth kisses down my face to my neck. “No,” I whispered into the quiet room, my voice breathy. “Mmm,” he moaned right into the spot where my shoulder met my neck before giving me a bite there that simultaneously stung and lit my body on fire. “Then I’ll just have to take what you give me. Now won’t I?” he growled.

Amie Knight is a new author to me and I have to say after reading The Red Zone I’m struggling to understand why she hasn’t crossed my radar before now. If this book is anything to go by she will fast  become one of my go to authors. This book is second chance romance at its best.
Lukas Callihan’s life has been turned upside down, his mother has died and he is the sole guardian for his little sister Ella. Lukas may have been at the top of his game as a star quarterback but he didn’t hesitate asking for a transfer back to the local team in the small town he grew up in to take care of Ella but it’s not as easy as he thought it would be because juggling training, playing and taking care of Ella and his saving grace is Scarlett Knox the sexy no-nonsense teacher.
Scarlett aka Ms Lettie is a special needs teacher and Ella is one of her students, she will do what ever is needed to help her students learn to live in the world we class as normal but what she didn’t expect was to come face to face with man she crushed on through her school days the man who looks even better now than he did all those years ago when she was enlisted to help with his French lessons.
Lukas and Scarlett are meant to be together they are both kind caring individuals who deserve a HEA. I loved how Lukas loved his sister unconditionally but it also made me smiled as he dealt with Ella’s teenage tantrums. This book is written beautifully, it’s a sweet second chance romance that also deals with family and loss. Looking forward to reading more of this authors work.

Amie Knight is a new author to me and I have no idea why that is.

Where do I start? This was a beautifully written second chance at love story that was at times an emotional roller coaster of a read.

Scarlett Taylor Knox, aka Ms Lettie, teaches special needs students. One of her students Ella is the younger sister of Lukas Callihan, someone Scarlett knew when she was a teenager.

I really liked Scarlett, she was feisty, caring and a woman I could see as a friend. Lukas was swoon worthy and the chemistry between them was electric.

There was humour and some fun moments that enhanced the story, particularly with Ella who is a great character.

I adored the relationship between Lukas and Ella when he becomes her guardian. You could feel his anxiety as he struggles to care for Ella. Mason as a secondary character was great and I would love for him to have his own book.

The situations and feelings were realistic and I was totally invested in the story that Ms. Knight wove.

When time permits I will be looking for more books from Amie Knight.
